A connector lock structure includes a lock arm that extends along a fitting direction and is formed on a side wall of a connector housing, and maintains a fitted state by being elastically engaged with a counterpart connector housing; a pair of flexible and deformable plate-shaped support walls that protrude rearward of the side wall to sandwich a rear portion of the lock arm therebetween; a coupling portion that couples each of the plate-shaped support walls to the rear portion of the lock arm in a width direction of the connector housing; and an upward protruding portion that protrudes upward than the coupling portion and is formed on each of the plate-shaped support walls.

Connector lock structure

A connector includes a terminal having a base plate portion and a pair of elastic curl portions, a connector housing having a terminal accommodating chamber, a flexible locking piece provided on a first wall of facing walls of the terminal accommodating chamber, a recessed groove provided on a second wall of the facing walls, extends from a rear side of the connector housing toward a front side of the connector housing along a terminal insertion direction of the terminal, and has a groove width smaller than a width of the base plate portion, and a contact surface formed at a front end portion of the recessed groove. When the terminal is reversely inserted, tip end contact portions of the elastic curl portions are brought into contact with the contact surface to prevent the terminal from being inserted further.

Connector

A lever-type connector includes a housing, a lever and a cover. The housing is to be fitted with a mating housing. The lever is pivotably mounted to the housing and fits the housing with the mating housing by pivoting. The cover is mounted to the housing to cover an outer periphery of an electric cable drawn out from the housing. The housing is provide with a deflectable lock arm. The lock arm has as a base end, a root part integrally mounted to the housing at a side where the housing faces the cover and holds the lever at a pivoting completion position of the lever. The cover is provided with a protective wall arranged opposite to the root part of the lock arm.

Lever-type connector

A lever-type connector includes a housing and a lever. The lever is pivotally mounted on the housing, and is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. A lock portion is provided on the housing, and locks the lever positioned at the fitting completion position. The housing is configured to be fitted to a mating housing by rotating the lever from a fitting start position to the fitting completion position. The housing has a pair of walls that are provided at both sides of the lock portion. Arm protection walls are provided on upper edges of the pair of walls respectively with extending inward so as to cover both sides of the flexible arm portion of the lock portion.

A lever-type connector includes a housing configured to be inserted and removed from a mating housing of a mating connector and a lever. The lever is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position of the lever. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. A lock portion is provided on the housing. Lever disengagement prevention portions are provided on both sides of the housing so as to cover at least respective parts of the side plates of the lever positioned at the fitting completion position from outside.

A lever-type connector includes a housing configured to be inserted into a mating housing of a mating connector, and a lever that is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. The housing has a lever-protection wall, protruding outward beyond a pivotal outer peripheral end of the lever disposed at the temporary locking position, the lever-protection wall being provided at an end portion of the housing in a direction opposite to a rotational direction in which the lever rotates from the temporary locking position toward the fitting completion position. The lever disposed at the temporary locking position is arranged so that the operating portion of the lever overlaps the lever-protection wall.

A connector housing includes a housing body and a fitting operation lever that has a swinging portion attached to the housing body rotatably. A part of the rib protruding toward the swinging portion narrows an interval between a curved portion of the housing body and the swinging portion to a predetermined value or below. A part of the rib protruding toward a direction separating from a lower surface of the housing body has a flat face. A distance between the rotary axis of the swinging portion and the flat face is larger than a distance between the rotary axis and a part of an outer circumferential edge of the swinging portion.

Connector housing

A lock structure of a connector includes a lock arm and a lock release arm which are provided in one connector housing of a pair of connector housings which are fitted into each other. The lock arm is engaged with a lock engagement part of the other connector housing to lock a fitting state between the connector housings when fitting between the connector housings is completed. The lock release arm is formed integrally with the lock arm and can deflect the lock arm in a lock release direction. The lock release arm is provided above the lock arm.

Fixing structure of separate leaf spring

An electric wire cover includes: a first electric wire cover including a wire arrangement space like a groove opened on one side, and attached to a wire lead-out end of a connector housing; and a second electric wire cover formed integrally with the first electric wire cover through a hinge portion, and covering the wire arrangement space. A guide groove is provided in one of the first and second electric wire covers, and extends in a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis of the hinge portion. A rotation restriction rib is provided in the other electric wire cover and extends in the direction perpendicular to the rotation axis. The rotation restriction rib slides in the guide groove during rotating operation by the hinge portion so as to restrict rocking of the electric wire covers relative to each other.

Electric wire cover

A connector with a cover () includes a connector housing () and a cover () fitted in the connector housing. The connector housing has a regulating rib () provided projecting in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction where the fitted cover is pulled away from the connector housing. The cover has a regulating groove () that is formed into a shape corresponding to the regulating rib, and into which the regulating rib is inserted when the cover is fitted in the connector housing. The regulating rib is formed to become larger in width in the first direction from a base end toward a tip in the second direction. Release of the fitting of the cover in the connector housing is regulated by the regulating groove and the regulating rib inserted into the regulating groove in a state where the cover is fitted in the connector housing.

A connector comprises: a connector housing that has a lock arm that locks a mated corresponding housing in a corresponding housing mating chamber, an arm operation part that can displace the lock arm to a position that releases the lock by an operation, a wire extraction part that is positioned in the release operation direction of the arm operation part and guides wires that are guided to the outside, a cover attachment part provided on the wire extraction part; and a wire cover that has a housing attachment part that is inserted into the peripheral side of the wire extraction part of the connector housing and mated to the cover attachment part and an arm excessive displacement prevention part that restricts excessive displacement of the lock arm.

A multi-connected connectorincludes a plurality of first connectorsandand a second connectorhaving a plurality of connector fitting chambersarranged in a row in a transverse direction to fit the first connectors. The first connectors include a connector whose length is different from the other connector of the first connectors in a fitting direction of the first connectors. Butting wallsas positioning parts that determine fitting completed positions of the first connectors respectively in the connector fitting chambersare arranged in accordance with lengths in the fitting direction of the first connectors to be connected so that rear end surfaces of the plurality of first connectors which are normally completely fitted are aligned so as to be flush.

Multi-connected connector

A female terminal includes a tubular portion which has a square tubular shape and receives a male terminal therein and a resilient member which is provided in the tubular portion so as to urge the male terminal toward an inner surface of the tubular portion. The resilient member includes a curved portion formed by a strip-like electrically-conductive metal sheet and a pair of mounting portions integrally formed respectively at widthwise-opposite side edges of the curved portion and extending away from each other. The tubular portion has a pair of side walls opposed to each other and has a pair of through windows provided on the side walls respectively, the pair of mounting portions being inserted in the pair of through windows respectively. At least part of each of the mounting portions located respectively in the through windows is greater in thickness than the other portion of each of the mounting portions.

Female terminal

A connection terminal comprises a terminal connection unit and a blade spring. A male terminal is inserted in the terminal connection unit. The blade spring is disposed in the terminal connection unit and press-contacts with the male terminal by means of reacting force generated by flexure deformation thereof. Spring strength of a front area of the blade spring is weaker than that of a rear area of the blade spring, wherein the front area is located at one side of the blade spring from which the male terminal is inserted in the terminal connection unit.
