A power control apparatus for an in-vehicle camera includes a temperature sensor which measures the temperature in a camera unit; a temperature data acquisition section which acquires periodically measured temperature data; a predicted temperature calculation section which calculates a temperature gradient from the acquired temperature data group and, based on the temperature gradient, calculates a future predicted camera unit temperature; a power supply section which supplies power to an image processing section; a temperature determination section which determines whether predicted temperature is within an operation guarantee temperature of camera unit component parts; and a power supply control section which, based on a determination result, issues a control command to start or stop power supply to the component parts from the power supply section, the power supply being started or stopped with appropriate timing using the predicted temperature, thereby enabling expeditious protection of the component parts when at high temperature.

An isolation transformer wherein in a first coil group of a pair of coil groups provided in an isolation transformer, an inner peripheral side lead wire is drawn out in a positive direction of a z axis and then drawn out to an outer peripheral side of a primary side coil as a first inner peripheral side lead wire, and in a second coil group, the inner peripheral side lead wire is drawn out in a negative direction of the z axis and then drawn out to the outer peripheral side of the primary side coil as a second inner peripheral side lead wire. The first inner peripheral side lead wire and the second inner peripheral side lead wire are then connected to each other, such that respective inner peripheral side end portions are connected to each other in series.

Isolation transformer

A power converter includes: a base conductor, an electrically heating member which is provided on the base conductor, a noise reduction capacitor of flat plate-shape in which via an insulator, a plurality of first electrodes and second electrodes are alternately layered, on one surface, the first electrode in an outermost layer is exposed and on another surface, the second electrode in an outermost layer is exposed, a relay conductor which is electrically connected to other members from the electrically heating member via the noise reduction capacitor, and the second electrode in an outermost layer of the noise reduction capacitor is face-joined to a face of the base conductor at a side where the electrically heating member is provided and the first electrode in an outermost layer and the relay conductor are face-joined.

Power conversion device

In a DC/DC converter that performs zero-voltage switching, capacitors are connected respectively in parallel to first and second MOSFETs that are included in an inverter unit in the primary-side of a transformer, and an inductor is connected to an AC output line. In a range of a current being more than a predetermined value, a control circuit controls the inverter unit using a PWM control with a fixed dead time, and in a light load range where the current is equal to or less than the predetermined value, the control unit changes the control to a PFM control and decreases a frequency so that the dead time becomes longer as the current decreases, to thereby keep a duty ratio without change.

A power supply control circuit controls opening and closing of the first switch so as to be in an open state when the engine is at rest, and so as to be set to a connected state after the regulator circuit is operated to make the alternator generate electric power to precharge the electrical double-layer capacitor after the engine is started.

In most vehicles, it is necessary to manually operate the parking brake whenever the vehicle is stopped. The manual brake operation is fatiguing and liable to make the driver feel that the operation is troublesome. A controller,controls a cut-off valve,to close in a vehicle stopping condition, and even if a brake pedal,is released, a pressure within a wheel cylinder,is held to thereby maintain a braking force. Also, when an accelerator pedal,is depressed when the brake hydraulic pressure is maintained within the wheel cylinder,, the controller,controls the cut-off valve,in the open condition so that the pressure within the wheel cylinder,is reduced to release the brake.

The follow-up cruise control apparatus selects a front obstacle having a safe acceleration and deceleration with the highest degree of risk of collision, from among all front obstacles ahead of own vehicle. Based on the safe acceleration and deceleration of the front obstacle, the follow-up cruise control apparatus prevents own vehicle from dangerously closely approaching or colliding with the front obstacle by restricting the driving power of own vehicle typically determined by an acceleration operation by a driver or by amplifying the braking power of own vehicle typically determined by a braking operation by the driver.
