In a vehicle seat including a height adjustment mechanism which is driven to adjust the height of a seat cushion and a brake mechanism which maintains the height of the seat cushion when the height adjustment mechanism is not driven, the brake mechanism is connected to a second connection portion different from a first connection portion connected to the seat back in the cushion frame, and reinforcement portions and which extend in a direction from the first connection portion toward the second connection portion are provided between the first connection portion and the second connection portion in the cushion frame.

The operation unit () includes a pinion gear () configured to be rotatable coaxially with the operation knob (B) provided at one of the pair of side frames (), and the front links () include a sector gear portion () configured to engage with the pinion gear (), such that rotation of the pinion gear () causes the front links () to pivot.
