Provided is a structure for installing a shift knob to a shift lever in which a rod is provided in an upwardly and downwardly movable manner. The shift knob comprises: a button capable of being manually pushed to allow the rod to be moved downwardly from a lock position to a lock release position; a core installing the button and having a lower tubular portion; and a cover ring covering the lower tubular portion of the core. The structure is configured to allow the cover ring to be fitted onto the lower tubular portion of the core, and thereby locked by the lower tubular portion of the core in a snap fit manner, and to allow the shift lever to be inserted into the lower tubular portion of the core, and thereby locked by the lower tubular portion of the core in a snap fit manner.

Provided is a button structure of a shift knob for use with a shift lever in which a rod is provided. The shift knob comprises: a button capable of being pushed to allow the rod to be moved downwardly from a lock position to a lock release position; a pinion gear provided in coaxial relation to a pivot shaft of the button; and a rack meshed with the pinion gear. The button structure moves the rod to a shift-lock release position, interlockingly with a downward movement of the rack caused by a swinging movement of the pinion gear in a forward direction, according to a pushing operation of the button, and moves the rod to a shift-lock position, interlockingly with an upward movement of the rack caused by a swinging movement of the pinion gear in a reverse direction, according to a push-mode releasing operation of the button.

Button structure of shift knob

A vehicle shiftercomprises a shifter body, a shift lever, an interlocking member, and a selecting return springserving as a biasing member. The interlocking memberis configured such that a front end thereof is pivotally supported by the shifter body, and a rear end thereof is swingingly movable around the front end as a swing center during a manual operation for moving the shift leverin a selecting direction. The selecting return springis configured to pull the rear end of the interlocking membertoward a rear end thereof.

A slide switch has a first small-current fixed contact, a second small-current fixed contact, a first large-current fixed contact and a second large-current fixed contact all disposed on a board. A movable contact member is movable along the board and includes a first small-current movable contact, a second small-current movable contact, a first large-current movable contact and a second large-current movable contact, all of which are integrally formed together. The first small-current movable contact is adapted, according to the movement of the movable contact member, to be brought into contact with the first small-current fixed contact. The first large-current movable contact is adapted, according to the movement of the movable contact member, to contact the first large-current fixed contact. The second small-current movable contact is continually in contact with the second small-current fixed contact. The second large-current movable contact is continually in contact with the second large-current fixed contact.

Shift lever unit with a translucent panel capable of being illuminated

A power seat control unit has a dial-type switch, a seesaw-type switch and button-type switches. The dial-type switch is ring-shaped, and allows a seat occupant to perform frontward and rearward inclining adjustments of a seat back of a power seat depending on a rotation direction thereof. The seesaw-type switch is inward of the dial-type switch and across a center of the dial-type switch and allows the seat occupant to perform a frontward and rearward displacement adjustments of the seat depending on a pushed position. The button-type switches are inward of the dial-type switch and on both sides of the seesaw-type switch, and allow the seat occupant to perform tilt-up and tilt-down adjustments of a front portion of a seat cushion and lift-up and lift-down adjustments of a rear portion of the seat cushion depending on which button-type manual switch is pushed.

Power seat control unit

A movable floor device for a vehicle, which comprises a movable board disposed beneath feet of an occupant seated in an occupant seat, a drive source disposed below the occupant seat, and a driving-force transmission mechanism adapted, according to a driving force of the drive source, to input a force directed in a selected one of frontward and rearward directions of a vehicle body, into a rear portion of the movable board. The movable board is supported in such a manner as to be selectively displaced upwardly and downwardly in response to respective ones of the frontward and rearward forces input from the driving-force transmission mechanism. The movable floor apparatus of the present invention makes it possible to allow a lowermost height position of a movable board to be set at a lower level so as to cope with various seating postures with enhanced flexibility.

A vehicle seat assembly comprises a coupling membercoupling a front end of a seat-cushion frameto an upper rail, a rear link memberprovided in a rear end of the seat-cushion frame, and a support memberprovided on the side of a vehicle body to support the rear link member. The rear link memberincludes a pivoted portionpivotally supported by the upper rail, a coupled portioncoupled to the rear end of the seat-cushion frame, and an engaged portion engaged with the support member. The support memberincludes a sliding drive portion (sliding groove) which slidably supports the engaged portion of the rear link memberto allow the rear link memberto be swingingly displaced in conjunction with a longitudinal movement of the seat-cushion frame, so as to move the coupled portionin an upward/downward direction to drivingly lift and lower the rear end of the seat-cushion frame. The vehicle seat assembly of the present invention can effectively a height position of a seat cushion in conjunction with an operation of adjusting a longitudinal position of an occupant seat in conformity to occupant's physique or the like.
