To improve workability when attaching an airbag module disposed in a side portion of a vehicle seat from a seat back side. A vehicle seat (S) includes: a side frame () which constitutes a side portion of a seat back frame (); a bracket () which includes an attachment portion () attached to a side surface of the side frame () on a seat inner side and a back protrusion portion () protruding backward from the attachment portion (); and an airbag module () which includes a retainer () fixed to the back protrusion portion ().

Vehicle seat

In a vehicle seat, a cushion pad includes a center portion and left and right side portions disposed, respectively, at left and right sides of the center portion. The cushion pad has a first slit provided between the center portion and each of the left and right side portions. The outer covering includes a center cover disposed to cover the center portion, and left and right side covers disposed to cover the left and right side portions, respectively. The outer covering has a second slit provided between the center cover and each of the left and right side covers. Left and right movement restriction plates are fixed to the left and right side covers, respectively. A cushion frame includes left and right engageable portions disposed, respectively, adjacent to the left and right movement restriction plates in positions laterally outward of the movement restriction plates.

In a vehicle seat, a movable frame provided at a front end portion of a stationary frame is configured to be slidable frontward and rearward between a first position and a second position frontward of the first position. An outer covering provided to extend frontward from an upper side of the stationary frame is configured to wrap around a front end portion of the movable frame. First and second straps are provided to extend rearward from a front end of the outer covering and configured to pull the front end of the outer covering rearward. The front end of the outer covering from which the first and second straps extend is arranged under the stationary frame. The first strap and the second strap are in positions spaced out laterally from each other. The first strap and the second strap are being pulled laterally inward.

A vehicle seat comprising a stationary frame, a movable frame and a cushion pad is disclosed. The movable frame is provided at a front end portion of the stationary frame and configured to be slidable frontward and rearward between a first position and a second position that is frontward of the first position. The cushion pad is provided to extend frontward from an upper side of the stationary frame and configured to wrap around a front end portion of the movable frame. The movable frame has an upper surface including a curved surface bulging upwardly.

In a vehicle seat including an upper rail, a lower rails, a lock mechanism for normally locking the upper rail relative to the lower rail, and a lock release member for selectively unlocking the upper rail relative to the lower rail, a deformation restraining member is fixedly attached to the lower rail, and extends toward a part of the lower rail so as to define a small gap relative to the lower rail.

A fixing device is provided for a headrest that fixes the headrest at a predetermined position in an unadjustable manner, even after a guide lock is attached or even after a seatback is formed. At least one groove portion is formed by cutting out in a headrest pillar, without inclination in the radial direction. The fixing device has a knob portion, a resin spring portion formed continuously to the knob portion, and an engagement plate arranged in the knob portion, the resin spring portion is formed to extend on one side of the knob portion therefrom, and is provided with a space portion for expanding to surround the headrest pillar. The engagement plate is installed in the knob portion, and is formed in such a manner that part of the engagement plate is exposed in the space portion.

Fixing device for headrest

A vehicle seat is disclosed which comprises a seat cushion (), first and second seat backs () separated from each other in a vehicle width direction and pivotally supported to the seat cushion (), a first recliner device () for allowing the first seat back () to be pivoted in a forward/rearward direction with respect to the seat cushion (), and a second recliner device () for allowing the second seat back () to be pivoted in the forward/rearward direction with respect to the seat cushion ().

A slide/flip-up type automobile-seat is disclosed. The seat is provided with lock-release restricting mechanisms provided at lower rail members of a slide rail mechanism for keeping slide lock levers in unlockable states with respect to the lower rail members during flipping-up movement of an entire seat or in a state where the entire seat has been flipped up, and for keeping striker locks in states of being unallowable to be unlocked when the lock levers are in states of incompletely locked with respect to the lower rail members. Each of the lock-release mechanisms includes a restricting arm which includes an arm body, a rising-up piece rising up from one end portion of the arm body and having a height reaching a position under a rear end portion of corresponding one of the lock levers, and a retaining piece which is provided at a side edge of the arm body and to which a corresponding one of extension rods extending from the striker locks is connected. The restricting arm is pivotally supported to a corresponding lower rail member with the rising-up piece being inserted through an elongated hole formed in the lower rail member, in such a manner that the rising-up piece is moved between the position just under the rear end portion of the lock lever and a position just behind the rear end portion of the lock lever according to forward and rearward strokes of the extension rod when the striker lock is unlocked and locked.
