Providing a method of estimating the number of microparticles such as microorganisms in a sample, without performing complicated operations. The method comprises counting by constant flow the number of target microorganisms contained in the sample at a predetermined flow rate, sectioning measurement data obtained as a result of the constant flow counting into a predetermined number of sections by a predetermined unit time for a section, counting the number of sections in which microorganisms are detected and the number of sections in which they are not detected, in the predetermined number of sections; and estimating the number of microorganisms in the sample, by a statistical method from the flow rate of the sample in the constant flow counting step, the predetermined number of sections and the predetermined unit time in the sectioning step, and the number of sections in which microorganisms are detected in the counting step.

Method for estimating number of microparticles in sample

A resin-sealing mold for sealing a semiconductor element with resin includes an upper die (), a lower die () disposed so as to be opposed to the upper die (), and a plurality of middle dies () sandwiched between the upper die () and the lower die (), wherein the plurality of middle dies () are provided with molding faces at tip ends and are placed so that the molding faces are opposed to each other during the sealing. Because of this, the middle dies () can be opened to the right and left from dividing faces I, and even a resin package of a semiconductor device with a concave part formed in a side surface can be molded.

A rotary transfer press comprising a crown, a bed, a post extending from the bed to the crown, a slide upwardly and downwardly movable as guided along the post, a drive assembly for moving the slide upward and downward, a plurality of working stations disposed in a circular arrangement and each provided with a press die, and a transport assembly for transferring workpieces from each of the stations to the next station in succession. The press can be installed in a small space, and the workpieces are feedable to and dischargeable from the press at any of the stations. The press dies are also replaceable at any station.
