An electrical connection box includes: a lower cover having an opening; a locked portion formed on a lower side wall of the lower cover; an upper cover closing the opening of the lower cover; a locking portion that is formed on an upper side wall of the upper cover and is locked by the locked portion to restrict the upper cover from moving in a detachment direction with respect to the lower cover; a contact rib that is formed on the upper side wall, protrudes toward the lower side wall, and has a distal end formed to be close to a side of an assembly direction in which the upper cover is assembled with respect to the lower cover compared to the locked portion; and a locking portion slit formed between the locking portion and the contact rib on the upper side wall.

Electrical connection box

An electrical connection box includes a lower cover, an upper cover, a connector front opening, bus bars, four first ribs formed of two pairs opposing each other with the bus bar, formed on the lower cover, interposed therebetween, and four second ribs formed of two pairs opposing each other with the bus bar, formed on the upper cover, interposed therebetween. The first ribs and the second ribs are provided such that a pair of ribs is provided to oppose each other on one side and on another side with the bus bar interposed therebetween in a vertical direction, and a pair of ribs is provided to oppose each other on one side and on another side with the bus bar interposed therebetween in a width direction. When viewed from a direction of assembling, the first ribs and the second ribs are provided at different positions.

A protective cover structure includes a protective cover that is fitted to an assembly work opening disposed in a wall of a case in which electric components are accommodated, thereby closing the opening, and a fitting detecting connector that detects that the protective cover is fitted to the assembly work opening. The fitting detecting connector includes a receptacle connector which is fixed to an interior of the case and an insertion/extraction connector which is disposed on the protective cover in a mutually insertable/extractable manner while being opposed to the receptacle connector. The receptacle connector includes a tubular housing and fitting detecting conductors in the tubular housing. The insertion/extraction connector holds a pair of detecting electrodes which are electrically conductible with the fitting detecting conductors, and is molded integrally with the protective cover.

Protective cover structure

An electrical component device includes an internal conductor, a case and a fitting detection connector. The internal conductor is connected to an electrical component and includes a fastening part configured to be fastened with an external conductor. The case accommodates the electrical component and the internal conductor and has a wall surface formed with a fastening opening for fastening the external conductor to the internal conductor. The fitting detection connector detects that a cover member closing the fastening opening is installed to the fastening opening and includes a receiving connector which is fixed inside the case and a detachable connector which is attached on the cover member. The wall surface extends in the gravity direction. The receiving connector has a receiving surface extending to a vicinity of an inner wall surface of the case and positioned below the fastening part in the gravity direction.
