A cleaning machine may include: a first brush comprising a first brush shaft extending in a left-right direction and a first brush body held by the first brush shaft; a second brush comprising a second brush shaft extending in the left-right direction and a second brush body held on the second brush shaft; a brush supporting member supporting each of the first brush and the second brush such that the first brush and the second brush are rotatable; a body supporting the brush supporting member such that the brush supporting member is pivotable; and a pivot mechanism configured to pivot the brush supporting member with respect to the body. At least the first brush may move with respect to the body in an up-down direction when the brush supporting member pivots with respect to the body.

Cleaning machine

It is an object of the invention to provide a technique for a reduction of vibration of an auxiliary handle for a hand-held power tool. The object can be achieved by a representative auxiliary handle. The auxiliary handle includes a ring-like mounting part, a pair of bases, a rod-like grip, one or arms and an elastic region. The bases are formed on a free end of the mounting part. The bases of the mounting part and extending end portions of the arms are arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction of the grip. The bases of the mounting part and the extending end portions of the arms are clamped by a bolt and a nut such that the mounting part holds the power tool body. The elastic region is provided in at least one of the mounting part, the bases and the extending end portions of the arms.

Auxiliary handle

A carrier for carrying a power tool may include a tool bit holder supporting at least one tool bit and a tool bit restraint device that is capable of preventing the at least one tool bit from being dropped out of the tool bit holder. The tool bit restraint device includes a tool bit restraint member. The tool bit restraint member is arranged and constructed so as to substantially uniformly press the at least one tool bit, thereby restraining the at least one tool bit.

Power tool carriers

Improving vibration reduction of a handle in a hand-held power tool by performing a predetermined operation on a workpiece by linear movement of a tool bit in an axial direction. The power tool includes a power tool body, a handle and a vibration-proofing part. The vibration-proofing part includes an elastic element that is disposed between the power tool body and the handle and reduces transmission of vibration from the power tool body to the handle, and also includes a body-side receiving part and a handle-side receiving part which are opposed to each other so as to hold the elastic element. The vibration-proofing part is designed such that deformation of the elastic element is shearing deformation in each of the direction of a z-axis defined along the axial direction of the tool bit and the directions of a y-axis and an x-axis which intersect with the z-axis.

Hand-held power tool

It is an object of the invention to provide a technique that contributes to further improvement of an impact tool. A representative impact tool includes a motor, a tool body that houses the motor, a dynamic vibration reducer and a driving mechanism part that is driven by the motor and forcibly drives the dynamic vibration reducer by applying an external force other than vibration of the tool body to the dynamic vibration reducer, during hammering operation. At least one of the dynamic vibration reducer and the driving mechanism part is mounted to the tool body in a form of an assembly into which at least one of a plurality of component parts forming the dynamic vibration reducer and a plurality of component parts forming the driving mechanism part are assembled in advance.

Impact tool

It is an object of the invention to provide an effective technique for enhancing the effect of reducing vibration of a grip of a reciprocating power tool. According to the present invention, a representative reciprocating power tool may comprise a tool bit, a tool body and a grip. The grip is connected to the tool body via an elastic element and a vibration damping part. The elastic element is resiliently disposed between the tool body and the grip and serves to absorb vibration transmitted from the tool body to the grip during operation. The vibration damping part is disposed between the tool body and the grip and serves to damp and/or attenuate the vibration. According to the invention, the spring constant of the elastic element can be made smaller due to vibration damping part.

Reciprocating power tool having a vibration-damping handle

It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved technique for preventing leakage of lubricant from an accommodating space that houses a driving mechanism, while regulating the internal pressure of the accommodating space in a power tool. A representative power tool includes a power tool body, a tool bit, a driving mechanism, a lubricant, an accommodating space, a passage and a lubricant leakage preventing region. The accommodating space is disposed in the body to house the driving mechanism and is hermetically sealed. The passage has an accommodating space side opening and an outside opening. The passage extends, starting from the accommodating space side opening, in a direction away from the outside opening. Then, the passage turns around and extends toward the outside opening. Further, the lubricant leakage preventing region is provided with the passage to prevent the lubricant from leaking from the inside to the outside of the accommodating space. According to the invention, the length of the passage can be made longer and the lubricant must travel a longer distance before leaking out. Therefore, a higher effect of preventing leakage can be obtained.

Power tool

It is an object of the invention to provide a technique for further improving the vibration reducing performance in the power tool, while avoiding complicating the construction of the power tool. According to the present invention, a representative power tool may comprise a striker, a tool bit and a vibration reducer. The vibration reducer serves to reduce vibration on the striker by reciprocating in a direction opposite to the reciprocating direction of the striker. The path of the center of gravity of the vibration reducer is arranged to coincide with a path of the center of gravity of the striker. With such construction, because rotating moment is not exerted onto the reciprocating cylinder during the operation of the power tool, vibration reduction can be performed in a stable manner.

Power-driven hammer drill having an improved operating mode switch-over mechanism

A percussive tool generates a reduced impact at the start of percussive operation following idling operation. The percussive tool has a cylinder containing a piston, an air chamber in front of the piston, and a striker disposed in front of the air chamber. A slide sleeve and a rimmed ring at the rear end thereof are fitted around the cylinder. The cylinder has formed therein an exhaust port and auxiliary ports in front of the exhaust port for placing the air chamber in communication with the atmosphere. When the slide sleeve is retracted, the exhaust port is closed by the rimmed ring. During percussive operation of the percussive tool, the auxiliary ports are always closed by the reciprocating striker and therefore not open to the air chamber. During idling operation, the striker takes an advanced position and opens the auxiliary ports, thereby placing the air chamber in communication with the atmosphere. The distance between the rear end of the striker and the auxiliary ports is set slightly shorter than the distance between the rear end of the ring and the exhaust port in normal operation, so that the auxiliary ports are opened prior to the exhaust port.

A hammer drill has a mode change-over mechanism including a change link with a horizontally elongated slot, an eccentric pin projecting from a mode selector switch and penetrating the slot. The change link is moved vertically by rotating the mode selector switch, which in turn vertically moves a pair of change keys secured to a holder of the change link, thus either engaging or disengaging the change keys with or from a sleeve provided in a rotation transmission mechanism for transmitting the rotation of a motor to the tool holder. In the engagement position, the rotation of the motor of the hammer drill is transmitted to a tool holder while in the disengagement position, the rotation of the motor is not transmitted. Also, the eccentric pin is engaged with a square recess formed in a lock ring which is fitted around the tool holder and urged backward by a compression spring. The eccentric pin is horizontally moved by rotating the mode selector switch, which in turn moves the lock ring in the axial direction, thereby couple or de-couple the lock ring to or from the tool holder.

A bit mounting device is adapted for removably mounting a bit on a tool which has a barrel including a mounting hole adapted for receiving the bit. The bit mounting device includes an engaging member engageable with the bit and a control member mounted on the barrel. The control member is movable between a holding position and a releasing position. The control member in the holding position is operable to fix the engaging member in an engaging position for engagement with the bit. The control member in the releasing position is operable to permit the engaging member to move from the engaging position to a disengaging position for disengagement from the bit. A stopper mechanism is operable to hold the control member in the releasing position when the bit is removed from the barrel.
