A timepiece includes a case including a protrusion protruding inward from an inner wall, a crown including a shaft passing through the side surface of the case, a head provided at one end of the shaft, and a drive wheel provided at the other end opposite from the one end of the shaft, an internal rotary ring provided in a position where the internal rotary ring overlaps with the protrusion in the plan view and having teeth that engage with the drive wheel, and elastic members disposed between the protrusion and the internal rotary ring and each including a convex section that engages with the teeth.

A band includes a spring rod including a first operation lever linked to a first slider and a second operation lever linked to a second slider, a first piece including a first portion, a second portion, and a linkage section that links the first portion and the second portion to each other, the first piece having a first recess in each of the first portion and the second portion, and a second piece disposed between the first portion and the second portion, the second piece having a second recess. The spring rod is disposed in a closed curve that is the combination of a left first recess, a right first recess, and the second recess in the side view viewed in an axial direction of the spring rod. The second piece is disposed between the first operation lever and the second operation lever.

A timepiece includes a dial plate, and a solar battery which is disposed on a rear side of the dial plate. The dial plate is provided with grooves or ridges. The grooves or the ridges have portions where inclination angles with regard to a normal line of the dial plate are different, and due to this, light which is transmitted through the dial plate is incident from a plurality of directions with angles which are different with regard to the solar battery.

To provide a timepiece which is easy to produce, a timepiece includes a case forming a ring shape; a back cover fitted to a back side of the case, and a fixing member forming a ring shape running along the circumferential direction of an inner peripheral part of the case, and having a fixing function for fixing the back cover to the case. The case is harder than the fixing member. The fixing member is disposed between the case and the back cover, and is compressed and deformed therebetween, thereby making it possible to fulfill the fixing function.

A timepiece includes a dial plate and a solar battery which is disposed on a rear surface side of the dial plate. The dial plate has an area larger than the solar battery. The solar battery is encompassed by the dial plate in a planar view. The dial plate is provided with grooves or ridges which have a function of condensing incident light.

A dial assembly held within a timepiece case together with a movement for which the hour hand and minute hand are supported to be able to rotate is provided. The movement supports at least one miniature hand to be able to rotate at a position different from the hour hand and minute hand. The dial assembly comprising includes a first dial that is light transmissive, a second dial arranged on the back surface side of the first dial, and at last one spacer forming a ring shape arranged between the first dial and the second dial. The miniature hand rotates within a space enclosed by the first dial, the second dial, and the spacer.

There is provided a button capable of entry and exit with respect to a base. The button has a button member, ring member, lock member, and fixed member. The button member has a shaft portion mounted in a manner that allows entry and exit with respect to the base, and an expanded-diameter portion with a shaft diameter that is larger than the diameter of the shaft portion. The ring member accommodates the shaft portion and can rotate about the axial center of the shaft portion. The lock member moves along the axial center between the ring member and the shaft portion due to the rotation of the ring member, and restricts the entry and exit action of the button member by coming into contact with the expanded-diameter portion of the button member. The fixed member is fixed to the base and stops the ring member to restrict the movement of the ring member along the axial center.
