A tag indicating an attribute of the tag by an electromagnetic wave reflection characteristic, the tag including a substrate (), and a conductor pattern layer () formed on the substrate () and having first and second slots () and () disposed adjacent to each other, in which the first slot () constitutes a first resonance element (Qa) having a resonance frequency at a first frequency, the second slot () constitutes a second resonance element (Qb) having a resonance frequency at a second frequency higher than the first frequency, and when irradiation with the electromagnetic waves is performed, a Q value of a resonance peak appearing at the first frequency is higher than a Q value of a resonance peak appearing at the first frequency when the first slot () alone constitutes a resonance structure of the tag.

This learning device is provided with: a simulation execution unit that, by using electromagnetic field analysis simulation, determines a reflected wave spectrum obtained when electromagnetic waves are emitted from a reader to an identification target; and a machine learning unit that, by using training data in which the reflected wave spectrum calculated by the simulation execution unit and an attribute thereof are defined as a set, performs a training process on a learning model by machine learning. The simulation execution unit generates a plurality of the reflected wave spectra belonging to the same attribute by variously changing various parameters related to the identification target from reference parameters. The machine learning unit performs a training process on the learning model by machine learning by using, as training data, the plurality of reflected wave spectra obtained for each attribute.

A detecting system includes: a sensor () that includes an antenna unit () formed with a metal pattern, and a back surface reflector () that faces the antenna unit () via an isolation layer (); and a reader () that transmits electromagnetic waves (Fa) to the sensor (), receives reflected waves (Fr) from the sensor (), and compares the reflection characteristics of the sensor () detected from the reflected waves (Fr) with the reflection characteristics of the sensor () stored in advance, to detect a state change in the sensor ().

A contactlessly readable tag includes a metal pattern layer, a conductive layer, and at least one intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has a relative permittivity of 0 or more and 2.5 or less and is provided between the metal pattern layer and the conductive layer. The metal pattern layer includes a metal part whose arrangement pattern corresponds to identification information. The identification information is configured to be identified based on information on an electromagnetic wave that is reflected by the contactlessly readable tag in response to irradiation of the contactlessly readable tag with an electromagnetic wave. The metal pattern layer is provided closer to a reading surface of the contactlessly readable tag than at least one of the intermediate layer.

A color tone quantification device for a glossy color, in which the correlation with the color tone of the glossy color visually perceived by humans is further enhanced, is provided. The device comprises a coefficient calculation unit that calculates a coefficient calculated in consideration of a spatial distribution which is to be used to correct the chromaticity measured by a method including a specular reflection component obtained by measuring the reflection light obtained by reflection of measurement light to an area of an object; a chromaticity calculation unit that calculates an effective chromaticity obtained by weighting the chromaticity measured by the method including the specular reflection component with the coefficient calculated by the coefficient calculation unit; and an output unit that outputs the effective chromaticity as a stimulus value representing a glossy color of the area in a color space.
