A display device for a vehicle includes: a first display device including a reflection type hologram that is disposed on a windshield of a vehicle, and a first projection part that projects first display light toward the hologram, and displaying a first display image by diffraction light diffracted by the hologram; and a second display device including a second projection part that projects second display light toward the windshield, and displaying a second display image by reflection light reflected by the windshield. In the windshield, a first region where the first display light is incident and a second region where the second display light is incident overlap with each other, the second projection part includes a filter part that cuts light in a predetermined wavelength region from the second display light, and the predetermined wavelength region is a wavelength region of the light diffracted by the hologram.

Display device for vehicle

A projection display device includes a display device, an optical system, and a shielding plate. The optical system includes a first mirror and a second mirror provided on the regular optical path, the second mirrors being to provide an optical path convergence point on the regular optical path, and the first mirrors being provided at a position corresponding to the optical path convergence point. The projection display device is configured such that a position of a mirror surface of the first mirror and the second mirror is adjustable in accordance with a position of an eye point of a user so as to project the light toward the projection position that corresponds to the position of the eye point. The shielding plate is provided such that the shieling plate does not interfere with the regular optical path and such that the shielding plate interferes with the different optical path.

Projection display device

A vehicular display device includes a reflection-type hologram disposed inside a windshield of a vehicle and a projection device that projects display light toward the hologram. The hologram outputs the display light from the projection device as diffracted light that travels toward the eye range of the vehicle. The projection device is arranged such that display light reflected off the windshield travels in a direction different, from the direction toward the eye range in a vehicle width direction.

Vehicular display device

A vehicle display device includes a reflection-type hologram disposed inside a windshield of a vehicle, and a projection device including an image display device outputting a display light and a regulating unit configured to regulate a diffusion angle of the display light, and to project the display light having passed through the regulating unit onto the hologram. The hologram outputs the display light projected from the projection device as diffracted light directed to an eye range of the vehicle, and the regulating unit is configured to regulate the diffusion angle of the display light to an upper limit angle or less such that the display light reflected from the windshield is directed in a direction different from the eye range.

Vehicle display device

A display device for a vehicle includes an irradiation unit that projects, through an opening provided to an instrument panel, display light onto a windshield located above the opening; and a display panel that is disposed on an opening side surface extending from an opening peripheral part toward a lower part of the instrument panel and that displays information to a driver.
