A utility vehicle includes: an air-cooled engine; a cooling fan disposed on one side of the engine with respect to a vehicle widthwise direction and configured to supply a cooling air towards a cylinder unit of the engine; an exhaust pipe disposed on the other side of the engine with respect to the vehicle widthwise direction and connected with an exhaust port of the cylinder unit; an oxygen sensor fitted to the exhaust pipe; and a shield configured to prevent muddy water, which is swirled by the cooling fan, from depending on the exhaust pipe.

A battery pack comprises a plurality of batteries which store electric power for activating an electric utility vehicle; a battery case which accommodates the plurality of batteries therein; and an external frame unit which is provided on an outer surface of the battery case and supports the batteries from below, wherein the external frame unit includes a lower support section placed on a lower surface of the battery case, an upper support section placed on an upper surface of the battery case, and a coupling section which couples the lower support section and the upper support section to each other. This allows the battery case to ensure a required stiffness while providing insulation between the batteries and an outside of the batteries, without increasing a thickness of the battery case.

Electric vehicle

An electric vehicle according to the present invention includes: an electric motor configured to generate driving force to rotate left and right driving wheels; a battery as a power supply for the electric motor; an inverter configured to supply AC power to the electric motor; a differential device arranged between the left and right driving wheels; and a driving power transmission configured to transmit the driving force, generated by the electric motor, to the differential device. The differential device, the driving power transmission, and the electric motor are lined up linearly in a vehicle width direction. The electric motor is located at a first vehicle width direction side of a vehicle width center of the vehicle. The inverter is located at the first vehicle width direction side of the vehicle width center of the vehicle.

An air supply mechanism of an electric vehicle includes: a first air flowing pipe; a second air flowing pipe; and an air blower configured to generate a flow of air such that the air flows through a first air inlet into a first air flowing pipe and is discharged through a first air outlet to electric component accommodating spaces, and the air in the electric component accommodating spaces flows through a second air inlet into a second air flowing pipe and is discharged through a second air outlet to a space outside a vehicle body. The first air inlet and the second air outlet are arranged higher than a first battery, a second battery, and an inverter serving as 'electric components.'
