A method comprises receiving vehicle data comprising information associated with a plurality of sensors of autonomous vehicle and segmenting the received vehicle data into non-public data and public data. The method further comprises partitioning the public data into a plurality of data partitions and generating a plurality of data levels of the public data. Each data level of the plurality of data levels is generated according to an access level of a plurality of access levels and includes one or more data partitions of the plurality of data partitions in an encrypted form. The method further comprises transmitting the generated plurality of data levels to a group of electronic devices. Each electronic device of the group of electronic devices retrieves, according to one of the plurality of access levels, at least a portion of the public data from the transmitted plurality of data levels.

Multi-level access control in sharing of vehicle data with devices

According to an aspect of an embodiment, a method may include obtaining a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) schema that corresponds to legacy data. The legacy data may include a plurality of legacy data points corresponding to device features of a legacy device. The plurality of legacy data points may be delimited according to a legacy data format. The JSON schema may include a plurality of property definitions corresponding to the legacy data points. The JSON schema may additionally include a legacy object that describes the legacy data format in a manner that allows for processing of the legacy data using the JSON schema. The method may also include processing the legacy data using the plurality of property definitions and the legacy object included in the JSON schema in a manner that allows the legacy device to be used as a web-of-things Thing.

Using legacy devices in a web-of-things

A method may include obtaining metadata associated with first and second data sets that may be stored at remote computing devices. The method may also include constructing a first database based on the metadata, and performing a first processing task on the first data set. The first processing task may include obtaining raw data of the first data set, and importing the raw data of the first data set into a second database that may be configured as a relational database. The first processing task may also include generating relationships in the second database between entries of the first data set to facilitate anticipated responses to queries. The method may additionally include performing a second processing task different from the first processing task on the second data set, and after performing the first processing task, receiving a query that invokes the first data set, and responding to the query.

Multi-database system

A generic application program interface (API) may learn heterogeneous APIs based on their API documentations that understands functionalities, parameters, operations, accessibility and outputs of APIs. The generic API collects API documentation from different sources based on a target human language by crawling a network such as the Internet. The generic API reads the documents of an API to recognize features of an API including type of services, concepts, protocols, accessibility methods, security methods, functionalities, outputs and base operations. Each given instruction for different APIs is mapped to generic API features. A programmer or end-user have access to multiple and heterogeneous APIs based on the generic API. The generic API provides a unified interface that allows a programmer or end-user to interact with different target APIs through the generic API. By raising a request to generic API a native API code is generated, executed and returns to the programmer or end-user.

A JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) data validation method may include generating a description schema for defining JSON data using one or more JSON constructs. The method may further include converting the description schema to an Extensible Markup Language (XML) schema. The method may also include converting the JSON data to XML data, and validating the JSON data based on the XML Schema and the XML data.

A gateway includes a communication interface and a processor. The processor is configured to receive, via the communication interface, a graphical representation of a device to be connected to the gateway, the graphical representation being in an electronic format. The processor is further configured to identify the device using the graphical representation to locate a record for the device in an electronic data storage. The processor is configured to search, connect and interact with a variety of the Internet of Things (IoT) devices or services. The processor is also configured to record and/or monitor all connected devices. The processor is also configured to provide a recommendation for the possible connection via a graphical user interface based on monitored/recorded patterns, which are permitted. The processor is configured to learn the monitored/recorded patterns based machine learning methods and trigger some actions with users' permissions or recommend a set of services to users.

Automated learning universal gateway

A method of converting a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) schema to an Efficient Extensible Markup Language (XML) Interchange (EXI) document. The method may include generating an XML structure from a JSON schema for data at a first size and including one or more properties, wherein the one or more properties are XML attribute names in the XML structure. The method may also include generating an EXI grammar including the one or more properties. Further, the method may include generating the EXI document for the data at a second size smaller than the first size and based on the EXI grammar.

EXI grammars to represent JSON schemas

A method of public information communication from an open public Internet-of-Things (IoT) device may include measuring a physical phenomenon. The method includes determining a location of an IoT device. The method includes broadcasting a network address and the location of the IoT device such that mobile devices within a particular proximity of the IoT device has access to the network address and the location. The method includes receiving an access request for public information at the network address from a mobile device positioned within the particular proximity to the IoT device. The public information includes a raw form of data measured by the physical sensor that is configured to be locally processed on the mobile devices. The method includes directly communicating the public information to the mobile device via a communication network without authentication or configuration between the IoT device and the mobile device.

Open public internet-of-things systems and methods

In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, methods, and/or processes may provide first images to a user; determine a rotation of a head of the user; provide second images, based at least on the rotation, to the user; and rotate a platform in accordance with the rotation. In one example, the platform may include a movement belt, and one or more of a walking movement and a running movement of the user may be determine via the movement belt. In another example, one or more optical sensors may be utilized to determine movements of the user. In one or more embodiments, determining the rotation of the head of the user may include utilizing one or more of a gyroscope and an accelerometer of a head mounted display, worn by the user. For example, the head mounted display may provide images of a virtual reality environment to the user.

A method may include receiving an extensible markup language schema definition (XSD) including multiple elements having a datatype. Each of the multiple elements may include an attribute profile defining a presence or an absence of at least one attribute. A first two or more of the multiple elements may include a first particular attribute profile. The method may further include generating a first grammar based on the XSD. The first grammar may be associated with encoding and decoding extensible markup language (XML) documents based on the XSD to and from efficient XML interchange (EXI) streams. The first grammar may also be associated with the first particular attribute profile. The method may further include associating each of the first two or more of the multiple elements with the first grammar.

Grammar generation for augmented datatypes for efficient extensible markup language interchange

A method may include receiving an extensible markup language schema definition (XSD) including a first element having a first simple datatype and a second element having a second simple datatype different from the first simple datatype. A grammar may be generated based on the XSD. The grammar may be associated with encoding and decoding an extensible markup language (XML) document based on the XSD to and from efficient XML interchange (EXI) streams. The grammar may be associated with the first simple datatype and with the second simple datatype.

A method of reducing dynamic memory usage during the decoding of an Efficient XML Interchange (EXI) stream may include parsing an EXI Profile stream to identify each element within the EXI Profile stream that is not defined by an associated XML schema. The method may also include examining the first bit after a corresponding SE event for each of the identified elements. The method may also include assigning an initial built-in element grammar with no top-level production to each element where the first bit is set to 0 or an augmented built-in element grammar with one top level production of AT(xsi:type) to each element where the first bit is set to 1.

Efficient XML interchange profile stream decoding

A method of normalizing an extensible markup language schema definition (XSD) schema type may be used in encoding and/or decoding an extensible markup language (XML) document. The method may include receiving an XSD schema type including a state. The method may also include analyzing the state for a conflict. The conflict may include an event resulting from a local production and one or more events resulting from a foreign production. When the conflict is detected, the method may include ignoring the one or more events resulting from the foreign production and generating a modified grammar for the state including the event resulting from the local production.

Grammar generation for XML schema definitions

A method of reducing the size of a simpleType element in an Efficient XML Interchange (EXI) schema document may include modifying each simpleType element in an XSD document by eliminating one or more facets from each simpleType element. The method may also include encoding the XSD document into an EXI schema document by transforming each modified simpleType element in the XSD document from an XSD simpleType element with start and end tags to an encoded EXI simpleType element expressed as a sequence of bits.

Efficient XML interchange schema document encoding

A method of parsing a markup-language document includes detecting, in a markup-language document, a start of a first data node of a first node type and identifying a first data definition associated with the first node type. The first data definition specifies defined contents of the first node type. The method further includes adding a first entry associated with the first data node to a data structure and reading, from the markup-language document, contents of the first data node. The method also includes determining a status of the first data node based on the first data definition and the contents read from the first data node and indicating the status of the first data node on a graphical user interface.
