Provided is a rotor capable of effectively utilizing magnetic flux generated from a magnet, a motor using the rotor, and an electronic device. The rotor, the motor using the rotor, and the electronic device include a rotor core including: an annular part; a plurality of magnetic pole pieces extending in a radial direction; and a plurality of connecting parts configured to connect the annular part and each of the plurality of magnetic pole pieces; a plurality of first magnets disposed between two adjacent magnetic pole pieces of the plurality of magnetic pole pieces in a circumferential direction; and a plurality of second magnets disposed in a space formed between two adjacent connecting parts of the plurality of connecting parts in the circumferential direction, the connecting parts extending in a direction having both of a component of the radial direction and a component of the circumferential direction.

Rotor, motor using the rotor, and electronic device

A motor includes a stator and a substrate. The stator includes a plurality of magnetic bodies and a coil wound around each of the magnetic bodies. The substrate opposes the stator in the rotational axis direction. The coil includes a first layer and a second layer stacked on the first layer. 1≤D/L holds, where L is a thickness of the magnetic body in the rotational axis direction and D is a width of the magnetic body in a radial direction. In the radial direction, a conducting wire of the first layer and a conducting wire of the second layer making up an inner edge of the coil are in contact with each other, and, in the radial direction, a conducting wire of the first layer and a conducting wire of the second layer making up an outer edge of the coil are in contact with each other.

Motor

The present invention provides a rotor, a motor using the rotor and an electronic device capable of effectively utilizing magnetic flux generated from a magnet. The rotor includes a rotor core including an annular portion and a plurality of magnetic pole pieces radially extending from the annular portion via a pair of joint portions, a plurality of first magnets disposed between the neighboring magnetic pole pieces in a circumferential direction, and a plurality of second magnets disposed between the pair of joint portions, in which each of the first magnets contacts side surfaces of two neighboring magnetic pole pieces in the circumferential direction and each of the second magnets contacts inner surfaces of the magnetic pole pieces in a radial direction.

Rotor, motor using the rotor and electronic device

To provide an outer rotor type motor capable of suppressing the runout of a top surface by improving the strength in a fitted part between a rotor yoke and a rotor shaft and suppressing resonance between vibration generated by rotation of a rotated body to be a load and motor vibration to thereby realize noise reduction. A rotor yoke is configured so that a rotor hub is fitted to a top surface portion formed in a cup shape integrally with a rotor shaft, and a reinforcing hub concentrically fixed to the rotor shaft with the rotor yoke is arranged so as to overlap the rotor hub.

The present invention provides a centrifugal fan that can be easily positioned when it is installed in a device or apparatus, which can further improve positioning accuracy, and which can decrease noise, even if it is made thin. In the centrifugal fan in which an impeller is received inside a casing and air drawn in from a suction port formed on the casing by rotating the impeller is discharged from the casing to the outside of a blowing port, a circular protruded portion is formed on a peripheral edge of the suction port, and protrudes upwardly in a shaft direction from an upper surface of the casing.

An angle detecting apparatus using a resolver disposed at a position where an external magnetic field is present on one side in an axial direction includes a rotor that is rotatable and made of a magnetic material, a magnetic permeability of the magnet material having an uniaxial anisotropy as an entirety, and a stator disposed to face the rotor, the stator including an exciting coil and a detection coil for detecting a magnetic flux generated by the exciting coil, the rotor being provided between the stator and the external magnetic field.

In a disk drive device, a magnetic recording disk is mounted on a hub. A base rotatably supports the hub via a bearing unit. The base has a ring-shaped wall that surrounds the bearing unit and that protrudes towards the hub. A laminated core is fixed to the base. The laminated core has a ring portion and twelve teeth that radially outwardly extend from the ring portion. Coils are wound around the twelve teeth. The base includes an increasing-thickness portion formed so that the less the distance between a part of the increasing-thickness portion and the ring-shaped wall is, the thicker the part of the increasing-thickness portion becomes.

The magnet is arranged such that its side surface on the salient pole side faces a side surface of each salient pole and a side surface of a portion of the hub that faces the stator core along a rotational axis direction.

Rotating device

A rotating device includes: a rotating body, a fixed body and lubricant. A surrounding member in the fixed body has a sleeve and a housing for surrounding the sleeve. A first radial dynamic pressure generating groove and a second radial dynamic pressure generating groove are formed on at least one of the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve and the outer circumferential surface of a shaft in the rotating body. The sleeve has a flange portion protruding radially outward at the end portion of the sleeve near to a hub in the rotating body. A concave portion, which is made by axially concaving at least part of the area corresponding to a wall thickness of the sleeve on the inner circumference side of the flange portion, is circumferentially provided in the flange portion.

A rotating device includes a fluid dynamic bearing unit. The fluid dynamic bearing unit includes a shaft encircling member that encircles a shaft, an intermediate encircling member that encircles the shaft encircling member, a shaft holder formed with a shaft hole into which an end of the shaft is fitted to fix the shaft, a base-side encircling member fixed to the shaft holder and encircling the intermediate encircling member, and a ring member fixed to the intermediate encircling member and encircling a rod encircling member. A lubricant is present between a rotating body and a fixed body. A first air-liquid interface is present between the base-side encircling member and the intermediate encircling member, and a second air-liquid interface is present between the ring member and the rod encircling member.

Fluid dynamic bearing unit and rotating device

A sleeve supports a shaft. A housing member is arranged so as to surround the sleeve and make the end of the sleeve protrude. A base member holds the housing member and fixes a stator core so as to surround the housing member. A hub drives a recording disk by being rotated integrally with the shaft, with a magnet being fixed to an annular portion concentric with the shaft so as to face the stator core fixed to the base member. A thrust member is rotated integrally with the hub, and a descender portion and a ring portion.

Disk drive device provided with fluid dynamic bearing

A disk drive device includes a rotating body, a fluid dynamic bearing unit that rotatably supports the rotating body, and a drive unit. The fluid dynamic bearing unit has: a lubricant holding portion in which lubricant is held; a first thrust dynamic pressure groove with which a first thrust dynamic pressure generating portion for generating the dynamic pressure in the pump-in direction, which is oriented toward the inside of the lubricant holding portion, is structured; and a second thrust dynamic pressure groove with which a second thrust dynamic pressure generating portion for generating at least the dynamic pressure in the pump-out direction, is structured. The first thrust dynamic pressure generating portion and the second thrust dynamic pressure generating portion have dynamic pressure generation characteristics in which, when the rotating body is biased in the rotational axis direction from the state where the rotating body is floating in the lubricant, the sum of the changes in the dynamic pressure in the pump-out direction is larger than that of the changes in the dynamic pressure in the pump-in direction.

Disk drive device improved in anti-vibration characteristic

In a disk drive device, a recording disk is mounted on a rotor. A base has a bearing hole, the center of which is along the rotational axis of the rotor. A bearing unit rotatably supports the rotor with respect to the base, the bearing unit being glued to the bearing hole. A ring-shaped first groove, the center of which is along the rotational axis, is arranged on a side surface of the bearing hole. A ring-shaped second groove, the center of which is along the rotational axis, is arranged on an outer surface of the housing, the outer surface contacting the side surface of the bearing hole. The position of the second groove with respect to its direction along the rotational axis is different from the position of the first groove with respect to its direction along the rotational axis. The base and the bearing unit are electrically connected by a conductive resin applied along an edge portion of the bearing hole, the edge portion being on a lower surface of the base.
