A relay device includes a receiver, an information obtaining unit, a parameter storage unit, and a parameter setting unit, and relays a packet which is transmitted from a first network to a second network. The receiver receives the packet from the first network. The information obtaining unit obtains data type information for identifying a type of data which is transmitted and received by the packet. The parameter storage unit stores a control parameter which is used for controlling communication quality in the second network, so as to be associated with a type of transfer data indicating data transferred to the second network. The parameter setting unit sets to the packet the control parameter which is associated with transfer data of a same type as data identified by the data type information, and outputs the packet to which the control parameter is set to the second network.

Relay device

Access points are grouped into access point groups. An access point group table that stores correlation between the access point groups and the access points and a terminal position table that manages the correlation between the access point groups and a terminal are provided for a position managing server that manages the position of the terminal. An access point notifies the position managing server of the identifier of the access point itself and the identifier of the terminal being connected to the access point. In the position managing server, an access point group to which the access point belongs is found by searching the access point group table. The terminal is registered in the column of 'access point group' of the terminal position table.

Provided is a technology by which a relay node relaying communications of a terminal detects a movement of the terminal and updates, as triggered by this movement of the terminal, information of a call processing device, thereby shortening a (period of) status in which a location of the terminal remains not to be coincident with location information registered in the call processing device. A system of the invention has a call control device performing call control between terminals on the basis of location information of the terminals, a location management device managing information about locations of the terminals and a relay node relaying communications of the terminals, wherein the relay node detects a connecting status with the terminal, and, when the connecting status with the terminal is changed, notifies the call control device of an update of the location information through the location management device.

Call system

A wireless LAN control device includes a wireless LAN control unit having a transmitting/receiving unit performing communications with a plurality of wireless LAN access points belonging to different user groups and a wireless LAN connection control unit. The wireless connection control unit executes control of transferring a user authentication request received by the transmitting/receiving unit via one of the plurality of wireless LAN access points and given from a wireless LAN terminal belonging to one of the user groups toward an authentication server that should execute an authentication process in response to the user authentication request, and transmitting an authentication result given from the authentication server in response to the user authentication request to the wireless LAN terminal via one of the plurality of wireless LAN access points.

Wireless network control device and wireless network control system

A router particularly providing a P2P traffic supporting router which discriminates and effectively controls P2P (Peer to Peer) traffic transmitted in a network. The router comprises a router part to execute a router function, a discrimination part to discriminate P2P traffic from input traffic, an assignment part to assign discrimination information to the P2P traffic discriminated in the traffic discrimination part, a notification part to create notification information to notify the discrimination information to other routers, and a controller to control the discriminated P2P traffic, wherein the router part outputs the notification information according to directions from the notification part and outputs P2P traffic containing the discrimination information according to directions from the controller.
