A sheet conveyance device includes a pick-up roller, a handling member, and a roller-movement-timing changing unit. The pick-up roller is movable between a feeding position where a recording sheet stacked in a sheet tray is fed and a feed standby position where the pick-up roller is separated from the recording sheet. The handling member is disposed on downstream of the pick-up roller in a sheet conveyance direction. The handling member separates the recording sheet fed by the pick-up roller one by one and conveys the separated recording sheet. The roller-movement-timing changing unit changes roller movement timing at which the pick-up roller is moved from the feeding position to the feed standby position, in accordance with a sheet information of a used recording sheet.

Sheet conveyance device

In a sheet feeding roller unit in which the pickup roller and the sheet feeding roller are integrated into one body, bearing members are respectively arranged at both ends of the sheet feeding roller shaft of the sheet feeding roller. The first bearing member is inserted into the first bearing engaging member arranged in the sheet feeding unit, and the third bearing member is arranged so that it can be moved by the lever member in the axial direction, and the third bearing member is attached to the second bearing engaging member when it is moved in the axial direction. Under the condition that it is pushed by the spring, the sheet feeding roller can be fixed and held with respect to the sheet feeding unit.

Sheet feeder of an image forming apparatus

Two lowermost heating members and one intermediate heating member are provided for a plurality of paper feeding trays disposed in the paper feeding portion of an image forming apparatus and the temperature in the whole paper feeding portion is controlled by supplying power to each of the heating members. The heating member is provided with a heat reflective plate and a heat insulating plate side by side to insulate the heat of a heating element. The heating member is placed close to the tray and the temperature in the whole paper feeding portion is controlled under a convection current of the heat emanated from the heating element in the paper feed. Moreover, a humidity sensor may be installed on the side or within the image forming apparatus to control the power supplied to each heating member.

Paper dehumidifying unit for image forming apparatus

A sheet forwarding apparatus for supporting a sheet on a transfer drum in a electrophotographic copying machine, onto which a toner image on a photoreceptor drum is transferred, which apparatus includes a pressure roller for pressing the sheet onto the transfer drum while forwarding. An arm member supports the pressure roller and is pivotable around a shaft so as to cause the pressure roller to alternately contact and distance from the transfer drum. An oscillating unit is included for oscillating the arm member, and to apply a constant pressure to the sheet through the pressure roller when the pressure roller is in contact with the transfer drum.

Pressure roller driver for sheet forwarding apparatus

A sheet registering unit for an image forming apparatus in which in the location upstream of the transfer stage, a preregistering roller device and a registering roller device are disposed while being separated with a predetermined distance from each other, and the leading edge of a sheet of paper is positioned with the aid of a loop of the sheet formed in a manner that the leading edge is thrust against the nip of the paired rollers of the registering roller device, and in this state the sheet is additionally pushed by the preregistering roller pair. In the sheet registering unit, the shafts supporting the roller members of the registering roller device or the roller members are supported by the combination of linear bearing members and springs, and by a pressure in the oblique direction caused in the sheet nipped by the registering roller device, the roller members of the registering roller device are shifted in the axial direction.
