The power supply controller controls the supply of electric power from a first power supply source to a predetermined facility having a first power supply destination and a second power supply destination, and also controls the supply of electric power to the predetermined facility from the second power supply source that is powered by a battery installed in a plurality of electric vehicles parked in a parking lot attached to the predetermined facility. The power supply controller prioritizes the first power supply source over the second power supply source when there is an abnormality in the first power supply source.

A vehicle includes an engine, a first MG (motor generator), a second MG, a motive power split device, and an ECU. ECU temporarily determines whether or not an imbalance abnormality has occurred based on an air-fuel ratio, and when it is temporarily determined that the imbalance abnormality is present, controls the engine such that the engine is in an idle state and formally determines whether or not the imbalance abnormality has occurred based on fluctuations in engine rotation speed. During a stop at idle, ECU determines whether or not the formal determination process of the imbalance determination is ongoing and carries out pressing control to cause the first MG to generate pressing torque Tp when the formal determination process is not ongoing and does not carry out the pressing control so as not to cause the first MG to generate pressing torque Tp when the formal determination process is ongoing.

Vehicle and control method for vehicle

Provided is a vehicle including an engine, a first MG (motor generator), a second MG, a power split device that couples them, and an ECU. ECU determines whether or not to permit execution of pressing control for suppressing idling vibrations produced by the power split device in an idling state of the engine depending on whether or not the combustion state of the engine is good, and sets a permission flag in accordance with a determination result. ECU determines whether or not the vehicle is stopping and is in the idling state. While the vehicle is stopping and is in the idling state and if the permission flag F is 'ON', ECU executes pressing control to cause the first MG to produce pressing torque Tp. If the permission flag F is 'OFF', ECU does not execute pressing control so that the first MG does not produce pressing torque Tp.

An exhaust gas control apparatus for an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas purification catalyst device provided in an exhaust passage for the engine; an HC adsorption portion, provided in the exhaust passage, which adsorbs hydrocarbon in exhaust gas; a passage switching portion that selectively closes/opens a second passage bypassing the HC adsorption portion using an intake pipe negative pressure in the engine so that the exhaust gas flows in a first passage provided with the HC adsorption portion, or in the first passage and the second passage; and a control portion that controls the negative pressure so that the second passage is closed, when a predetermined condition is satisfied at the time of start of the engine. The control portion executes at least one of a control that advances the valve timing of an intake valve, and a control that reduces the opening amount of a throttle valve.

Exhaust gas control apparatus for internal combustion engine and method of controlling same

A fuel supply device () for an engine () pressurizes the fuel drawn up from a fuel tank () by the low-pressure fuel pump () and stores it in a delivery pipe (), and injects the fuel stored in the delivery pipe () from an injector (). The fuel supply device () includes a return passageway () connecting the delivery pipe () and the fuel tank (), and a relief valve () that is provided on the return passageway () and that is capable of being switched between an open state for connecting the delivery pipe () and the fuel tank () in communication and a closed state for shutting off the delivery pipe () and the fuel tank () from each other in communication. An ECU () switches the relief valve () to the open state and operates the low-pressure fuel pump (), if a predetermined stop condition for stopping the engine () is satisfied.

Fuel supply device and fuel supply method for internal combustion engine

In an engineincluding an in-cylinder injector, the valve timing of an intake valve is retarded by VVT (Variable Valve Timing) controlled by an engine ECU to decompress in a combustion chamber at engine startup. In accordance with a configuration in which the valve timing of intake valve is advanced in a stepped manner from an initial set value, fuel injection from in-cylinder injector is inhibited during the time when the advance is equal to or below a predetermined standard value, and fuel injection from in-cylinder injector is allowed when exceeding the predetermined standard value, whereby degradation in the exhaust emission level in accordance with start time decompression control can be suppressed.

Control apparatus for internal combustion engine

A sealing valvethat controls a communication state between a fuel tankand a canisteris provided. During stop of an internal combustion engine, the sealing valveis generally closed, and the canisteris opened to the atmosphere. The sealing valveis opened when the internal combustion engine is stopped, and differential pressure exceeding a valve opening determination value is generated between tank internal pressure and atmospheric pressure. A change in the tank internal pressure generated between before and after the sealing valveis opened is detected. When the change in the tank internal pressure is below a predetermined determination value, closing failure of the sealing valve is determined.

Disclosed is an evaporated fuel treatment device that includes a sealing valve installed between a fuel tank and a canister, a pump module pressure sensor for detecting the pressure on the canister side pressure, and a tank internal pressure sensor for detecting a tank internal pressure. Upon detection of a significant difference between the canister side pressure and tank internal pressure, the device concludes that no open failure exists in the sealing valve.

Evaporated fuel treatment device of internal combustion engine

A sealing valve is installed between a fuel tank and a canister. A purge VSV is installed between the canister and an intake path. A pump module unit is installed to introduce a negative pressure into the canister. The negative pressure is introduced into the canister while the purge VSV and sealing valve are closed. An open failure diagnostic check is conducted on the sealing valve in accordance with the prevalent canister side pressure. A tank internal pressure sensor detects tank internal pressure Pt. The purge VSV is controlled to purge evaporated fuel into the intake passage during operation of the internal combustion engine. The sealing valve is opened/closed depending on whether a predetermined purge is performed in an area where the tank internal pressure Pt is positive.
