The automatic emergency braking device further includes a brake control unit that activates the automatic emergency brake according to the determination result of the collision determination, and an execution timing change unit that changes the execution timing of the collision determination. The execution timing change unit includes a determination unit that determines whether a prediction condition indicating prediction of entry of the vehicle to the opposite lane is satisfied, and a setting unit that, when the condition is satisfied, sets the execution timing of the collision determination earlier than the timing in the case where the condition is not satisfied.
