A vehicle lamp using an LED optical unit can include a connector. The LED optical unit can include a circuit board upon which an LED is mounted, a shield plate including lock grooves and a connector including terminal members and engaging portions. Each of the terminal members can contact with conductor pads of the circuit board with confidence using an elastic force of the terminal members, while each of the engaging portions is engaged with the lock grooves via insert slits in the circuit board and the shield plate. The connector can be attached to the circuit board by inserting the engaging portions into the insert slits and by rotating the connector. The LED can receive power supply via the conductor pads and can emit variously-colored lights. Thus, vehicle lamps can be used for various vehicles with a simple structure by using the disclosed LED optical unit including connector.

A rotation stabilizing device of the invention has therein a rotary member which rotates around the central rotation axis, an inertia member which is arranged at the position different from that for the royary member in terms of the axial direction of the central rotation axis, and a connecting member which is provided with a viscoelastic member having viscosity and elasticity and connects the rotary member and the inertia member in a detachable manner through the viscoelastic member, and is characterized in that the connecting member is provided at the position which is away from the central rotation axis in the radial direction.

An exposure device for use in a copier having a magnification mode, includes a light source having a uniform non-shaded light distribution characteristic when a predetermined magnification ratio is selected; a lens moving mechanism for focusing an image on a photoreceptor so that a magnification of an image can be changed by movement of a lens while a light shading member is being rotated; a rotatable light shading member which is rotatable about a shaft; and a light shading member rotation mechanism for correcting a light distribution of an image light on a photoreceptor surface relative to a variable magnification ratio of the lens while the light shading member is being rotated. The light shading member includes two thin light-shading plates which have a cross section along the optical path that is unequally varied at adjoining portions thereof when the light shading member is rotated. If two surfaces of the light shading plates are successively placed on the optical path at different angles crossing the optical axis and if the amplification ratios for each of the plates is selected to be larger and smaller respectively than a predetermined ratio, then the shapes projected on a surface perpendicular to the optical axis for each plate are formed so that the light amount distribution on the photoreceptor provided by each plate is made uniform by the light shading member rotation mechanism.

A discharge wire cleaning apparatus having a cleaning member adapted to clean a discharge wire, which is used in a corona discharge device and supported so that the wire extends in the lengthwise direction of a back plate of the corona discharge device. An elongated guide groove, which has an opened portion parallel to the discharge wire, is provided in the back plate, and a shaft portion of the cleaning member is fitted slidably in this guide groove, the opened portion of the guide groove restricting the cleaning member so that the cleaning member can be moved in parallel with the discharge wire. The cleaning member can be turned at one end of the guide groove so as to be separated from the discharge wire. A rope is fitted through the shaft portion of the cleaning member and moved by a driving power source to enable the cleaning member to be moved slidingly in the guide groove in the lengthwise direction thereof.

The present invention provides an optical correction device capable of correcting an exposure distribution so as to be flat at an image receiving surface such as a photoreceptor of copying machine, in spite of varying a projection magnification of original image on the image receiving surface. Additionally, the optical correction device can correct an exposure amount on the image receiving surface so as to be substantially same level throughout all available magnifications.

A V-mirror position changing device includes a block carriage disposed at an end of a closed loop wire for driving the first and second carriages, and a stationary block disposed on a body frame in a manner to correspond to adjoining blocks disposed on the block carriage.
