An operation system for a vehicle includes a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to acquire a first signal indicating whether a seat in the vehicle is facing forward or rearward, and generate a display screen by arranging at least two operation elements in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The display screen is displayed on an operation panel installed in the vehicle. The processor reverses the arrangement of the at least two operation elements in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in accordance with the first signal.

A projection apparatus for use with a movable body is provided. The projection apparatus includes a parking controller configured to cause the movable body to automatically move to a parking space, and a projector configured to project light onto a road surface in vicinity of the movable body. When the parking controller causes the movable body to automatically park in the parking space, the projector projects the light onto the road surface located within a predetermined distance from the movable body.

In one embodiment, left and right frame elements are provided in such a manner as to be movable in a horizontal direction. The left frame element has a shape of the left half of a circular ring and the right frame element has a shape of the right half of the circular ring. The frame elements are horizontally positioned away from each other such that the left frame element surrounds the left side of a circular meter image displayed on a display and the right frame element surrounds the right side of another circular meter image displayed on the display. Two frame interpolation part images are arranged and displayed on the display in a form that the two frame interpolation part images couple upper edges of the left and right frame elements to each other and couple lower edges of the left and right frame elements to each other, respectively.

In a video disk player for playing back a disk containing a plurality of music pieces, each recorded as a combination of video data and corresponding audio data, a picture-search process section for mainly searching the video data includes an audio-data buffer memory, and upon receipt of a picture search instruction, audio data of a music piece previously designated to be continuously played back is recorded. When the picture search is performed, the video data of the music pieces contained in the disk is sequentially played back for a predetermined time interval, for example, 30 seconds, on the basis of an instruction of a video-data playback control section for search. On that occasion, the video disk player continuously plays back the audio data of the specific music piece recorded in the buffer memory regardless of change-over of the video data.
