There is provided a nonaqueous electrolyte solution for the sodium secondary battery including a sodium salt, a compound having a sulfur-oxygen bond, and a nonaqueous solvent in which an amount of the compound having the sulfur-oxygen bond is in a rage of 0.05% by weight or more and 10% by weight or less with respect to the nonaqueous electrolyte solution.
