An eye test service system comprising an eye test service apparatus for obtaining eye test data of an objective eye of a service user, connected to a database system through a communication line, and provided at an eye test service equipment, the database system having an eye test data memorizing unit configured to memorize eye test data and an eyeglass frame memory unit for memorizing eyeglass frame information data; an issue apparatus provided at the eye test service apparatus or the database system for issuing a user ID for specifying the user and a user password for calling out a photographed facial picture; and a web server capable of showing the eye test data, and superimposing a selected facial picture with a selected eyeglass frame when the service user inputs the user ID and password by using a terminal to access the database system.

A service system for selecting personal goods to wear or carry, comprising a memory unit configured to memorize information on personal goods associated with types of each of decomposed body components with respect to a number of customers; an extracting unit configured to extract a given body component from a picture of a given customer; a selecting unit configured to select information on a piece of given personal goods memorized in the memory unit on the basis of the extracted result of the extracting unit; and a showing unit configured to show the selected piece of the personal goods to the given customer. Apparatus for simulating processing of eyeglass lenses

A lens meter having a measurement optical system including a light-emitting optical system, emitting a measurement luminous flux to an eyeglass lens, and a light-receiving optical system having a light-receiving element, receiving the measurement luminous flux passing through the eyeglass lens, an eyeglass holding device between the light-emitting and light-receiving systems, and an arithmetic control circuit computing characteristics of the lens based on receiving element output. The holding device includes a lens receiver supporting the lens, and an eyeglass sandwiching unit, which sandwiches the eyeglasses. The lens receiver is freely movable between the measurement optical path of the measurement optical system and a withdrawal position outside the path, and is moved in the withdrawal position after the eyeglasses have been sandwiched by the sandwiching unit.

Database constructing system

A lens meter according, including: a unit body provided with eyeglasses support means for supporting eyeglasses; a left measurement optical system provided in the unit body and provided with a left light-emitting optical system that emits measurement light to a left eyeglass lens of the eyeglasses and a left light-receiving optical system that receives the measurement light passing through the left eyeglass lens with a CCD (light-receiving element); a right measurement optical system provided in the unit body and provided with a right light-emitting optical system that emits measurement light to a right eyeglass lens of the eyeglasses and a right light-receiving optical system that receives the measurement light passing through the right eyeglass lens with the CCD (light-receiving element); and an arithmetic control circuit that performs operation to the optical characteristics of a pair of the eyeglass lenses based on an output of the CCD (light-receiving element).

A refractive power measuring method is disclosed wherein a pattern plateis disposed at a certain position in a measuring optical path in a measuring optical system, a measuring light emitted from a measuring light sourceis received by a photosensorthrough the pattern plate, a soft contact lens TL is disposed at a certain position in the measuring optical path, and a change of a pattern light received by the photosensoris obtained to determine optical characteristic values of the soft contact lens. According to this method, the soft contact lens TL is disposed in a wet state at a certain position of the measuring optical path and scattered light resulting from scatter of the measuring light on a surface of the soft contact lens TL is received by the photosensor, then a state of scatter of the scattered light is determined from a change of a received light signal outputted from the photosensorand there are obtained optical characteristic values when the received light signal is below a preset value.

In order to observe a front eye portion of an eye (E) to be examined, when a frame is moved to within a first region to approach the eye E to be examined, a stereo angle converting portion as means for shifting an optical path and a color temperature converting element ( ) as optical converting means are removed from right and left optical axes (L and L ). Eyeglass frame selecting system

A lens molding apparatus basically includes a lens molding tool in which a pair of lens forming molds for forming outer shapes of both surfaces of a molded lens are oppositely arranged on both sides of an annular forming frame in the thickness direction to form a target space therebetween, and a molding resin is injected in the target space to form an unhardened molded lens, wherein the unhardened molded lens is hardened by irradiating the unhardened molded lens with ultraviolet rays, to form a hardened molded lens. This lens molding apparatus is characterized in that optical characteristics of the unhardened molded lens are measured by a measuring system.

Lens specifying device

A lens meter is provided which comprises a light source for generation of a measuring light beam and a pattern forming plate provided in an optical path of the measuring light beam. The pattern forming plate has a central pattern for measuring lens characteristics of a narrow area on an eyeglass lens and a plurality of peripheral patterns for measuring lens characteristics of a wide area on the eyeglass lens. The pattern forming plate can be switched between a normal measuring mode which receives the image of the central pattern based on the measuring light beam transmitted through the narrow area of the eyeglass lens and also measures the narrow area alone and displays the measured values and a wide-area measuring mode which receives a great number of images of the peripheral patterns based on the measuring light beam transmitted through the wide area of the eyeglass lens and also measures the wide area and performs mapping display.
