An electronic component board is produced by die-cutting a metal plate in a lump into the bus bars and a band-shaped connecting portion connected to the bus bars, having a constant width, and positioned at an outer edge of the metal plate, by attaching the bus bars to the insulating plate, and by cutting and removing the connecting portion while leaving a part of the connecting portion uncut which is used as the heat radiating portion. Additional steps of the method include providing the metal plate, the insulation plate, and an electrical component, and electrically connecting the electrical component to the plurality of bus bars.

Connecting structure for interengaging metallic shielding members

A connecting structure of a metallic shielding member is provided with each of contacting elongations in the leading edge direction of male or female metallic shielding member in which a pair of engaging hook pieces to engage with the contacting elongation of one of the metallic shielding members are formed at the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member. The pair of engaging hook pieces are formed at both sides of the slit provided between the adjacent contacting elongations. A waterproof connector housing which directly mounts on a device includes a hood portion for fitting on a mating connector housing, an elastic seal ring provided inside the hood portion for forming a watertight seal between the waterproof connector housing and the mating connector housing, and an O-ring for forming a watertight seal for the device. The O-ring is located at the proximal end of the hood portion which is to face the device. The elastic seal ring and the O-ring are integrally formed with each other through disengagement prevention portions and connecting portions of the elastic seal ring. The disengagement prevention portions extend through the proximal end portion of the hood, and each of the connecting portions interconnect their respective disengagement prevention portions with the O-ring.

In an electrical junction box with a fuse, a safety plug including a plug body which is moved vertically to electrically connect two terminals to each other and disconnect them from each other, at least one pair of electric wires, and a fuse are fixedly mounted in a frame, the electric wire is connected directly or indirectly to one of the terminal, the terminal is connected directly or indirectly to one end of the fuse, the other end of the fuse is connected directly or indirectly to the electric wire, the plug body is protruded outside from the frame, and a sealing member sealingly closes the gap between the plug body and the frame.

There is disclosed a connector for an electric car which can be of a small size, and the cost is reduced, and the efficiency of a fitting operation is enhanced. A female terminal is mounted in a tubular female housing, and a slide cover is slidably mounted on an outer periphery of the female housing. Tapered holes are formed in an electrical contact portion, and ball bearings are received respectively in the tapered holes. Projected portions for limiting outward movements of the ball bearings are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the slide cover. A groove, in which the ball bearings, projected into a bore of the electrical contact portion, are engageable, is formed in the male terminal.

A locking mechanism for a connector has a first connector housing formed with a fitting hood and a second connector housing mated with the first connector housing and formed with a lock projection. A leaf spring member fitted to the first connector housing is formed with a lock hole engageable with the lock projection and a push spring piece brought into contact with an inner surface of the fitting hood so as to urge the lock hole against the lock projection.
