A synthetic wood meal for a pellet that enables to manufacture a molded product with no deformation such as warping and distortion or, if any, deformation that can be alleviated to a practically non-problematic level and also features high mechanical strength. The synthetic wood meal comprises 30 wt % to less than 45 wt % of a thermoplastic resin including polypropylene or a mixed material of polypropylene and polyethylene; 50 wt % to 35 wt % of a wood meal having a bulk density of 0.15 to 0.21 g/ cmand a mean fiber length of 101 to 189 &#x3bc;m in which 19 to 29% or less of the wood meal having a shortest fiber length of 60 &#x3bc;m or less, and 9 to 20% or less of the wood meal having a shortest fiber length of 30 &#x3bc;m or less; and an additive including a reinforcing agent.

Disclosed are composite pellets for extrusion molding wherein fusion does not occur between the pellets, and there is no variation in size and density. A molten material obtained by an extruder for a raw material containing a thermoplastic resin and wood powder is extruded into a strand shape through a die nozzle of the extruder, and cut into a predetermined length to form a pellet. At this time, the extrusion amount, the diameter of each nozzle hole, and the number of nozzle holes are adjusted so that the linear velocity (&#x3bd;d) of the molten material in each nozzle hole of the die nozzle is in the range of 12 to 50 cm/sec. Further, regardless of the variations in particle diameter, etc., a stable amount of the composite pellets are supplied to the extruder, and smoothly introduced to a screw of the extruder. The composite pellets and 12-hydroxystearic acid containing a metal of Ca, Mg, or Zn are agitated together, and 0.03 to 0.4 mass % of the 12-hydroxystearic acid is attached to the periphery of 100 mass % of the composite pellet, and the pellets are used for extrusion molding.

A resin cultivating base serves as seedling beds for vegetation which are planted and are partially immersed in a river, lake, marsh, pond or waterway. The resin cultivating base is a three-dimensional structure constituted by long and short filaments of thermoplastic resin. The long and short filaments are curled or looped at random, and contacted, entwined and gathered, thereby forming a low density portion and a high density portion. Vegetables planted on the low density portion of the resin cultivating base suck nutritious salt such as phosphor and nitride. Microorganisms living in the resin cultivating base decompose organisms in the water, thereby purifying the water.

There is provided a method for recycling synthetic wood materials, transformed into materials through a relatively simple method without performing elimination of encrusted concrete from a previously used sheathing board for use in a concrete form having synthetic wood materials as raw materials. The method consists of a step wherein a sheathing board() which had been previously used as a concrete formand formed from synthetic wood materials with a moisture content of less than 15 wt %, wherein between 20 and 75 wt % of cellulose crushed materials, such as wood meal with particle diameters of between 50 and 200 &#x3bc;m, and between 25 and 80 wt % of thermoplastic resin molding materials, are mixed, is crushed into numerous coated particles, and a step wherein a scraping impact force is applied to each individual coated particle, concrete and other encrusted materials encrusted on the previously mentioned coated particlesare peeled or separated, and at the same time as the synthetic wood materials constituting the coated particlesand the encrusted materials are classified, the particles of the synthetic wood materials are granulated, and the granulated synthetic wood meal materialsfor which the particles have been granulated are recycled.
