A superconducting rotating machine, including: a stator that has a tubular stator iron core and stator windings wound around the stator iron core and generates a rotating magnetic field; a superconducting rotor having: a superconducting squirrel-cage winding that is held rotatably with the rotating magnetic field of the stator on an inner peripheral side and has one or more rotor bars and end rings each made of a superconducting material; and a rotor iron core that has a plurality of slots to accommodate the rotor bars; a pulse voltage output unit that outputs a pulse voltage to shift the superconducting squirrel-cage winding to a magnetic flux flow state; a drive voltage output unit that applies a drive voltage to the stator windings to rotationally drive the superconducting rotor, wherein the pulse voltage output from the pulse voltage output unit is superimposed on the drive voltage.

Superconducting rotating machine and method of controlling superconducting rotating machine

A motor main body of a switched reluctance motor includes a rotor-having a plurality of rotor salient poles, a stator having a plurality of stator salient poles, a drive winding of each phase wound around stator salient poles of the plurality of stator salient poles, of the phase, and a permanent magnet disposed in a stator yoke. A drive circuit outputs a drive current to the drive winding of each phase to rotate the rotor. A pulse current output circuit outputs a pulse current to be superimposed on the drive current during an application time shorter than an application time of the drive current to the drive winding of each phase.

Switched reluctance motor and control method therefor

A superconducting rotating machine includes a stator that includes a cylindrical stator iron core and a stator winding that is toroidally wound around the stator iron core and formed of a superconducting material, and generates a rotating magnetic field, an inner rotor rotatably held at an inner circumferential side of the stator, and an outer rotor rotatably held at an outer circumferential side of the stator. The inner and outer rotors each include at least one rotor winding selected from a superconducting squirrel cage winding including a single or a plurality of rotor bars and end rings that are formed of a superconducting material, and a normal conducting squirrel cage winding including a single or a plurality of rotor bars and end rings that are formed of a normal conducting material, and a rotor iron core including a plurality of slots that accommodate respective rotor bars of the rotor winding.

Superconducting rotating machine

In a wind-powered thermal power generation system, an induction motor includes a field (rotor) which has a field core coupled to a rotation shaft of the wind turbine and a field conductor, and an armature (stator) which has an armature core arranged on the outer side of the field with a spacing therebetween and an armature winding, and the induction motor is housed in the heat insulating container. A heating medium circulation mechanism circulates, inside the heat insulating container, a heating medium that receives heat generated by the induction motor. A magnetic field control means controls an input current to the armature winding so as to result in slip that produces load torque at the rotor rotating due to rotation of the wind turbine. A power generation portion converts, into electricity, the heat of the heating medium heated by the induction motor.

Wind-powered thermal power generation system

A wind power generating system includes: a wind mill, an induction rotating machine coupled to a rotating shaft of the wind mill; a power converting device that supplies exciting current to the induction rotating machine; a heat medium circulating structure that circulates a heat medium that receives heat generated by the induction rotating machine; a heat accumulator that accumulates heat of the heat medium; a thermal power generator that converts, into electric power, the heat of the heat medium accumulated in the heat accumulator; and an armature control unit that controls the exciting current in accordance with electric power demand of an electric power system. The armature control unit performs one or both of power generation mode control in which the induction rotating machine is operated as a power generator and heat generation mode control in which the induction rotating machine is operated as a heat generator.

Wind power generating system

The main problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a superconductive rotor, a superconductive rotating machine and a superconductive rotating-machine system which are capable of inductive and synchronous rotation while employing the induction machine configuration and also offer satisfactory heat dissipation performance, stability under an excessive load, and easy magnetic flux trap for synchronous rotation. To solve the problem, the invention provides a superconductive rotor, as shown in FIG., including a superconductive squirrel-cage winding formed by superconductive wires having a plurality of superconductive wires covered with a highly conductive metal; a normally conductive squirrel-cage winding formed by a normally conductive material; a cylindrical rotor core having a plurality of slots for accommodating the rotor bars of both of the squirrel-cage windings; and a rotor shaft coaxially provided to the rotor core, wherein, when the superconductive squirrel-cage winding is in a non-superconductive state, rotations are mainly made by an induced torque generated on the normally conductive squirrel-cage winding due to a rotating magnetic field and, when the superconductive squirrel-cage winding is in a superconductive state, rotations are mainly made by a synchronous torque generated by the superconductive squirrel-cage winding trapping magnetic flux of the rotating magnetic field.
