A vehicle electric motor including: a tubular-shaped stator core constituted by electromagnetic steel sheets that are laminated on each other; a rotor disposed inside the stator core so as to be rotated about an axis; and a housing storing therein the tubular-shaped stator core and the rotor, and including a circumferential wall and axially opposite end walls that are opposed to each other in a direction parallel with the axis. The stator core is fixed at one of its axially end portions to one of the axially opposite end walls of the housing. The housing includes a stator-core-inclination restraining portion that protrudes from an inner circumferential surface of the circumferential wall of the housing toward a part of an outer circumferential surface of the stator core, wherein the part is located on a side of the other of the axially end portions of the stator core.

A vehicle electric motor including: a tubular-shaped stator core constituted by laminated steel sheets; a casing including an outer circumferential wall and a bottom wall, and storing therein an axial end portion of the stator core; a casing cover including an outer circumferential wall and a bottom wall, and storing therein another axial end portion of the stator core, and a rotor disposed inside the stator core. The stator core includes fastened portions protruding radially outwardly from respective portions of an outer circumferential surface of the stator core which are circumferentially spaced apart from each other. The stator core is fastened at the fastened portions to the bottom wall of one of the casing and the casing cover. The other of the casing and the casing cover includes protrusion portions protruding from its inner wall surface toward the stator core so as to restrain inclination of the stator core.

A resolver stator that is mounted on a target structure including a knock pin, the target structure having a hole, a portion of the knock pin being disposed in the hole, the resolver stator including: a stator core that has an engaging groove configured to be engaged with the knock pin, and the stator core includes a yoke; and a resolver cover covering the yoke in a central axis direction of the resolver cover, the resolver cover being made from metal and having a first cutout, the first cutout being disposed such that the first cutout overlaps at least a part of an end surface of the knock pin engaged with the engaging groove, at the center axial direction.

A wire harness fixing structure includes a cooling medium tank provided with a cooling medium relief valve; a sensor that is installed in the cooling medium tank; a connection terminal that is located beyond the cooling medium relief valve as viewed from a position where the sensor is installed; a wire harness that electrically connects the sensor to the connection terminal; and a bracket that is fastened to the cooling medium tank and that fixes the wire harness. The bracket includes a fastened portion that is fastened to the cooling medium tank, and a retention portion that has a substantially U-shaped form closed at a side facing the cooling medium relief valve and that retains the wire harness in the U-shaped form.

A rotor includes: a rotor core fixedly attached to a rotational shaft and having a magnet-inserted hole portion; a magnet inserted into the magnet-inserted hole portion; and a resin portion injected into the magnet-inserted hole portion. The rotor core is constructed by axially stacking a plurality of electromagnetic steel sheets. The electromagnetic steel sheets include: an electromagnetic steel sheet having the magnet-inserted hole portion and a weight-reducing-purpose hole portion provided separately from the magnet-inserted hole portion; and an electromagnetic steel sheet located on at least one axial end of the rotor core and having a portion covering the hole portion formed in the electromagnetic steel sheet.

Rotor and method of manufacturing the same and electric vehicle

An object is to provide a rotor manufacturing method capable of reducing a rotor unbalance amount by controlling a magnet arrangement position in a rotor core and improving work efficiency when fixing a magnet to the rotor core by using resin. A lower surface of a rotor core is arranged in a lower mold. A magnet is arranged in a lower mold. A magnet is contained in each of magnet containing holes formed in the rotor core in such a manner that a predetermined space is assumed between an upper surface of the rotor core and an upper surface of the magnet. An upper mold is arranged on the upper surface of the rotor core. The upper mold and the lower mold apply a pressure to the rotor core and a molten resin is supplied with pressure from an internal diameter side via the predetermined space into the plurality of magnet containing holes from respective cylinder arranged in the upper mold. Thus, the magnets are molded by resin while pressing the magnets toward the outer diameter side of the magnet containing holes.

Rotor manufacturing method

A rotor includes: a rotor core formed by stacking a first sheet member and a second sheet member and having a first magnet-inserted hole and a second magnet-inserted hole located radially outward relative to the first magnet-inserted hole; magnets inserted respectively into the first and second magnet-inserted holes; and a resin portion injected into the first and second magnet-inserted holes. The first sheet member has a first hole and a second hole constituting the first and second magnet-inserted holes respectively. The second sheet member is located at at least one axial end of the rotor core and has a portion covering a part of the first hole.

A control device of a vehicle motor includes a temperature sensor that detects a temperature of each coil, each coil supplying an alternating current to a corresponding phase of the motor and a controller that controls a torque of the vehicle motor; detects a stalled state of a vehicle; detects a current phase angle of the vehicle motor; and selects one of the temperatures detected by the temperature sensor based on a detected current phase angle, wherein the torque of the vehicle motor is reduced when the stalled state of the vehicle is detected and when a selected temperature exceeds a restrictive temperature.

The present invention has an object to propose a method of producing a rotor, capable of reliably fixing a magnet to a rotor core with resin and preventing breakage of the rotor core. The present invention includes a step of fixing a permanent magnet to a rotor core by injecting molten resin into a slot by injection molding on the condition that, assuming that: a dimension between an end surface of the rotor core and an end surface of the permanent magnet is a core end surface-magnet interval; and a minimum value of a dimension between an inner surface of the slot and a side surface of the permanent magnet, allowing the molten resin to fully fill a clearance between the inner surface of the slot and the side surface of the permanent magnet by injecting the resin into the slot through a cylinder, is a minimum slot-magnet interval value, and a value of the core end surface-magnet interval is equal to or larger than the minimum slot-magnet interval value.
