The invention provides a welding method by resistance welding capable of adequately increasing a welding strength between two conductive terminals each made of copper, and a conductive terminal structure obtained by the method. A first conductive terminal made of a tinned flat copper plate is molded such that a step portion is formed at a position spaced away from a tip end position of the first conductive terminal and a projection is formed at a tip end portion ranging from the tip end position to the step portion. A second conductive terminal made of the aforementioned copper plate and the first conductive terminal are molded such that a weld surface of the second conductive terminal has a size to cover an entire weld surface of the projection of the first conductive terminal. Simultaneously, the respective conductive terminals are molded such that the tip end portion of the first conductive terminal becomes substantially equal in sectional area to a weld portion of the second conductive terminal. These conductive terminals are brought into contact under pressure with electrodes equal in electrical characteristic to each other, and then electric current is fed to the electrodes. Thus, the projection of the first conductive terminal is melted into and is welded to the weld surface of the second conductive terminal.

Conductive terminal welding method and conductive terminal structure

In order to prevent rattling and avoid generation of chips at the time of assembly in a storage case for a power steering control unit of a vehicle, a storage case includes a base having a plate-shaped substrate member, and a box-shaped cover having an opening on the lower side and being mounted on the base so as to cover the upper surface of the substrate member, wherein rattling preventing projections are provided at a plurality of positions on the peripheral edge of the substrate member so as to come into abutment with an opening-side edge of the cover, which is positioned at a mounting position with respect to the base, from the outside; on the inner side of the rattling-preventing projections bevels are formed, which presses the opening-side edge to resiliently deform the peripheral wall of the cover inward and causes a reaction force to act in a direction in which the cover moves away from the substrate member and comes apart from the base; and the opening-side edge is formed with a crimping projection formed by being bent toward the lower surface of the substrate member so as to retain the cover at the mounting position against the reaction force.

Storage case and method of assembling the same

To prevent lowering of connection reliability of soldering connection portions of electronic equipment, there is provided electronic equipment which is equipped with a connector electrically connected to an electric motor, a control board and a power module board to which the connectors and other electric parts are electrically connected by soldering, a base for supporting the boards and the connector while overlapped with the boards and cases for fixing the connector while the connector is exposed from an opening portion, and fixing the boards while the boards and the base are accommodated in the cases. The connector is supported by the base through a beam as a flexible metal piece.

Electronic equipment and method of manufacturing the electronic equipment

An opening-and-closing control device is disclosed, in which speed of an opening-and-closing body can be increased even while automatic operation is performed. The device includes an operation knob that performs opening-and-closing control of an opening-and-closing body according to an instruction from an operation switch which is switchable to each of positions of 'automatic closing', 'manual closing', &#x201c;neutral&#x201d;, &#x201c;manual opening&#x201d; and &#x201c;automatic opening&#x201d;, wherein first the operation knob is operated to start the automatic opening operation, and then when the operation knob is held in the position of the &#x201c;automatic opening&#x201d;, an opening speed of the opening-and-closing body is increased according to a time period for which the operation knob is held in the position of the &#x201c;automatic opening&#x201d;, therefore the opening-and-closing body can be opened at high speed even while the automatic opening operation is performed.
