The invention provides a shape member manufacturing apparatus and a shape member manufacturing method which aims at cutting and grinding a joint projectionB formed when a plurality of shape members are joined together by welding or friction stir welding, in a short time with high accuracy. A plurality of mountshaving a side structureplaced thereon are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the side structure. A joint projectionB of a welded portion or a friction stir welded joint is formed on the surface of the side structurein its longitudinal direction. Shape member manufacturing apparatus and shape member manufacturing method

Software and hardware such as part feeding and assembling devices constituting a production system are simplified with the use of a plurality of processing and assembly integrated units in which processing and assembling of parts are coupled and integrated in accordance with products to be produced. The necessities for an automatic warehouse and an automated ground vehicle are eliminated by getting rid of futility of mere movements of the parts. A fundamental idea is that a production system is constructed of units in which three sections--a section for processing a raw material, a check functional section and an assembling section--are integrally combined in accordance with the products to be produced. The parts are processed, checked and assembled by single units just in time while targeting molded parts of plastic and pressed parts.

The invention relates to joining of fine wires, and more particularly to a wire bonding method suitable for connecting a number of wires within a narrow area. A first wire is bonded on a pad, and a second wire is bonded on the position where the first wire has been bonded. Bonding of a subsequent wire is performed in that the wire is stacked and bonded in similar manner mentioned above. Thus a plurality of repair wires can be bonded within one pad even if the pad area is very small.

A stave cooling device includes a double drawn steel tube cast-mounted in a castable metal main body, and the double tube includes an inner tube which serves as a passage for a coolant. The inner tube of the double tube contains 0.20 to 0.38% of equivalent carbon and an outer tube of the double tube contains 0.15 to 0.25% of equivalent carbon. The outer tube has on its outer surface an alumina coating of 0.08 to 0.25 mm thick, and the main body is formed by casting a spheroidal graphite cast iron. The double tube is cast-mounted in the main body such that the double tube and the main body are not welded together.
