A battery cell for use in a redox flow battery, the battery cell including an electrode, a membrane facing one of both surfaces of the electrode, and a bipolar plate facing the other surface of the electrode, wherein the bipolar plate includes, in a surface thereof facing the electrode, a flow channel for an electrolyte, the electrode is a porous body containing carbon materials, and a compressive strain in a thickness direction of the electrode when a compressive stress of 0.8 MPa is applied in the thickness direction of the electrode is 20% or more and 60% or less.

Battery cell, cell stack, and redox flow battery

A superconducting wire includes a substrate and a superconducting material layer. The substrate includes a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface. The superconducting material layer is disposed on the first main surface. Along at least a part of the superconducting wire in a direction in which the superconducting wire extends, the superconducting material layer is disposed to cover a side surface of the substrate in a width direction of the substrate and cover at least a part of the second main surface. A thickness of the superconducting material layer located on the first main surface varies along the width direction. A maximum thickness of the superconducting material layer located on the second main surface is smaller than a maximum thickness of the superconducting material layer located on the first main surface.

Cell stack and redox flow battery

A battery according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of tanks () storing electrolyte containing ions of which valence is changed; a cell () configured to cause oxidation-reduction of the electrolyte so as to be charged or discharged; a pipe () connecting the plurality of tanks and the cell; and a pump () configured to circulate the electrolyte between the plurality of tanks and the cell through the pipe. The battery according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a container () housing the plurality of tanks (), the cell (), the pipe (), and the pump (). The container has a bottom (), a side (), and a top (). Accordingly, the battery in an embodiment of the present invention can be installed easily and its installation area can be reduced.

Container-type battery

This wiring module includes: a wiring substrate; a base portion at which the wiring substrate is placed; and an adhesive layer configured to adhere the wiring substrate to the base portion, wherein the wiring substrate includes: a land portion configured to have a power generating element mounted thereto; and a wire portion configured to be electrically connected to the power generating element, the adhesive layer has: a land adhesion region configured to adhere the land portion to the base portion; and a wire adhesion region configured to adhere the wire portion to the base portion, and a width of the wire adhesion region is smaller than a width of the land adhesion region.

Wiring module

This power generation module includes: a power generating portion () including a power generating element (); and a wiring substrate. The wiring substrate includes: a reinforcement plate; and a flexible printed circuit () provided above the reinforcement plate. The flexible printed circuit () has: an FPC land portion () configured to have the power generating portion () mounted thereto; and a FPC wire portion () connected to the FPC land portion (). The width of the FPC wire portion () is smaller than the width of the FPC land portion ().

Power generation module and wiring substrate

This power generation circuit unit includes a wiring substrate and a plurality of power generating elements mounted to the wiring substrate. The wiring substrate includes: a first substrate (E) and a second substrate (F) to each of which the power generating element is mounted; and a coupling portion (L) configured to couple the first substrate (E) and the second substrate (F) together. The first substrate (E) can be disposed at least two positions of: a first position separated from the second substrate (F) by a first distance; and a second position separated from the second substrate (F) by a second distance being greater than the first distance. The coupling portion (L) has an FPC (flexible printed circuits). In a state where the first substrate is disposed at the second position, at least a part of the coupling portion (L) is twisted.
