A number n of Hall elements of a position detecting device output analog detection signals responsive to magnetism from a magnet of a piston. A number n of AD converters carry out analog to digital conversion to convert the analog detection signals into digital detection signals. A ladder circuit receives, as an n-bit digital signal, the digital detection signals output from a number n of magnetic detectors, and performs digital to analog conversion thereof into a single analog output signal. A control IC detects an approximate position of the piston on the basis of the single analog output signal that is input thereto.

Position detecting device

A pressure sensor is equipped with a body including a fluid passage in the interior thereof, a holder connected to one end of the body, and a ceramic sensor accommodated in the interior of the holder. Plural protrusions are disposed on an outer edge portion of an end surface of the sensor, which is pressed by the holder. In addition, when the holder is fastened with respect to the body, in a state in which a pressing portion of the holder abuts against the protrusions, a fastening force is applied in an axial direction, and the sensor is fixed.

Pressure sensor having resistive bodies

A pressure sensor includes a ceramic sensor that is accommodated between a body and a holder. On an end surface of the sensor, plural resistive bodies are printed and fired in a straight line using a thick-film resistive paste material by screen printing.
