A method of making a rotor for an electric motor includes accommodating, in a forming mold, a plurality of annularly disposed rotor magnets, a frame made of steel plate and formed generally into a shape of a cup, the frame having an annular wall disposed outside the annularly disposed rotor magnets so as to be located at a side opposed to a stator with respect to the rotor magnets, the annular wall having a open end, and a ring member made of a magnet material and disposed along the annular wall of the frame at an inner or outer circumferential side of the annular wall, the rotor magnets being held by magnet holding means provided in the forming mold in execution of the accommodating step, and pouring a molten resin into the forming mold accommodating the rotor magnets, the frame and the ring member and hardening the resin.

A multipurpose smokeless roaster comprising: a roasting unit (2), a ceiling (1) having an opened portion (7), a cylindrical outer box (9) having an exhausting unit (3) at the lower end thereof and opened at the upper end thereof, a cylindrical inner box (11) provided inside the outer box (9) and having a burner (23) inside thereof and being opened at the upper end thereof, and a suction passage (X) defined between the outer box (9) and the inner box (11) at a predetermined width for sucking a smoke generated during roasting and cooking. The inner box has an annular surface (15) on which a metal grill or a pot stand (18) are selectively mounted. A movable draft pipe (4) is slidably provided at the exhausting unit (3) of the outer box (9) and a connector box (5) is provided under the movable draft pipe (4) for connecting said movable draft pipe (4) and a duct unit (6) for defining an exhaust gas passage. A static pressure equalizer (34), having a slit (33), is provided inside the connector box (5) for equalizing a suction force applied to the roasting unit (2) with a static pressure.

Smokeless roaster

A roaster has radially spaced outer and inner casings with a smoke outlet passage defined therebetween. The inner casing has an annular step extending along an inner peripheral surface thereof. A circular grill for roasting meat thereon or a circular trivet for supporting a 'shab-shab' pot thereon is replaceably placed on the annular step in the inner casing.
