According to one embodiment, an electronic circuit includes: a first circuit configured to generate a first current and output a first voltage, the first voltage being one of a voltage based on the first current and a first predetermined voltage; a second circuit configured to generate a first output current based on the first voltage; a first output terminal outputting the first output current to a first switching device; a first input terminal having a first input signal inputted, the first input signal relating to driving and non-driving of the first switching device; and a third circuit configured to generate a first control signal based on the first input signal, the first control signal switching the first voltage to the first predetermined voltage and stopping the first current.

According to an embodiment, a thermoelectric generator includes a thermoelectric element and a DC to DC converter. The thermoelectric element converts heat energy into electric energy. The DC to DC converter increases an input voltage applied by the thermoelectric element. The input voltage is higher than a voltage which is half an open voltage of the thermoelectric element.

According to one embodiment, a power circuit includes a DC-DC converter and an activation control circuit. The DC-DC converter converts input voltage into voltage that is different from the input voltage. The activation control circuit sends a first enable signal to start operation of the DC-DC converter when voltage depending on the input voltage becomes equal to or higher than a first threshold voltage, and sends a second enable signal to start operation of a load connected to an output side of the DC-DC converter when the voltage depending on the input voltage becomes equal to or higher than a second threshold voltage. The second threshold is higher than the first threshold voltage.

According to one embodiment, a power supply device includes a voltage conversion circuit configured to convert a voltage of power generated by a power generation element; a plurality of power storage elements connected in parallel with respective load circuits; a switch circuit configured to switch an electrical connection between the voltage conversion circuit and each of the plurality of power storage elements; and a control circuit configured to measure voltages of the plurality of power storage elements and to control the switch circuit based on the measured voltages.

A DC-DC converter includes an input terminal, multiple output terminals, an inductor, a first switch, a first condenser, a second switch and a switch controller. One end of the inductor is connected to the input terminal. The first switch is subjected to on-off control to change a current flowing through the inductor. The first condenser has one end connected between the inductor and a first output terminal, which is one of the multiple output terminals, and has the other end connected to a ground. The second switch is connected between the inductor and the first condenser. The switch controller controls the second switch to turn on when the first switch is turned off while a first output voltage from the first output terminal is smaller than a predetermined first threshold value.

An electrical storage device according to an embodiment includes a power generator; a first-type capacitor that stores the electrical power generated by the power generator; second-type capacitors that are connected to the first-type capacitor in parallel; switches each of which is connected to one of the second-type capacitors; and a control circuit that controls the switches. Every time either a charging voltage or an observation voltage proportional to the charging voltage exceeds a first threshold value, the control circuit controls the switches in such a way that the i+1-th second-type capacitor (where i is an integer equal to or greater than zero) is additionally connected to the first-type capacitor in parallel.

According to one embodiment, a DC-DC converter, includes: an inductor configured to be supplied with an input voltage; a plurality of rectifiers connected in parallel to the inductor; a plurality of p-MOS transistors connected in series to the respective rectifiers; a switch configured to connect an output side of the inductor to a reference potential; and a control circuit configured to control the p-MOS transistors and the switch. The control circuit performs control to supply a voltage to turn on a first p-MOS transistor selected from among the p-MOS transistors to a gate terminal of the first p-MOS transistor, and to supply a voltage depending on an output voltage of the first p-MOS transistor to a gate terminal of a second p-MOS transistor other than the first p-MOS transistor among the p-MOS transistors.

The startup circuit boosts an input voltage up to a first output voltage. The comparator circuit outputs a first signal corresponding to the difference between the output voltage and a first reference voltage. The switching circuit outputs a second voltage based on the first signal. The control circuit outputs a second signal corresponding to the difference between the output voltage and a second reference voltage. The converter circuit boosts the input voltage based on the second signal, and outputs the output voltage. The switch control circuit generates a third signal based on the second signal, and outputs the third signal to the first switch.

Boost converter

According to some embodiments, there is provided a controller that performs communication with a plurality of power supply units each of which outputs electric power to a load. The controller includes a receiving unit, a control information generating unit and a transmitting unit. The receiving unit receives operation information from the power supply units by radio, the operation information being information on electric power output to the load from the power supply units, respectively. The control information generating unit generates control information to control the power supply units based on the operation information. The transmitting unit transmits the control information to the power supply units by radio.
