An engine system includes a combustion chamber and an air supplier. The combustion chamber is formed in a cylinder. The air supplier is configured to supply air to a circumferential area of the combustion chamber. The circumferential area is near an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. The air supplier is configured to supply air to the circumferential area before ignition to gather a rich air-fuel mixture that is present in the combustion chamber to a central area of the combustion chamber such that a stratified body consisting of a layer of the air-fuel mixture in the central area and a layer of the air in the circumferential area is formed.

Engine system

An engine includes a combustion chamber, a cylinder head, an intake valve, a partition wall plate, and a tumble valve. The cylinder head includes an intake port that communicates with the combustion chamber. The intake valve includes a head configured to open and close an open end of the intake port. The partition wall plate partitions the intake port into first and second passages. The tumble valve is configured to open and close either one of the first passage and the second passage. A cross sectional shape of the partition wall plate is defined on a basis of a shape of a gap that is surrounded by a contour of the head and a contour of the open end, as viewed in a reference direction. The reference direction is a direction from a reference point in the intake port to a gap between the open end and the head.

Engine

A command-value generation apparatus includes: a segmentation unit to segment a machining program into execution units to generate segment machining programs; a parallel computation unit, including a plurality of arithmetic units, to execute the segment machining programs on a per execution unit basis in parallel and generate a segment command for each of the execution units, the segment command being a group of interpolation points on the tool path; and a command-value generation unit to generate a tool travel command from the segment command for each of the execution units. The segment machining programs are separate from one another by at least one segmentation point. The segment machining programs includes a forward segment machining program located forward of the segmentation point, and a rearward segment machining program located rearward of the segmentation point.

Command-value generation apparatus

A numerical control device is a numerical control device that controls a machine tool including a plurality of axes, and includes a reading unit that reads a machining program for machining a workpiece, and when the machining program read by the reading unit is a machining program for simultaneously operating five or more axes of the plurality of axes, controls operation of the five or more axes to be simultaneously operated in the machining program by dividing the operation into a plurality of sets of operation of four or less axes.

Tool-path correcting apparatus and tool-path correcting method

A vibration mode determining apparatus that determines vibration mode of a machine structure of a machine including motors and that includes a vibration command generating unit that generates a vibration command for the motor; a control unit that generates a current command for the motor according to the vibration command and outputs a conversion value for a motor excitation force to a vibration mode calculating unit; a motor drive unit that receives the motor current command and drives the motor; a vibration sensor that detects vibration of the machine structure; a measurement-point information input unit that sets information about the attachment point of the vibration sensor; a vibration mode calculating unit that calculates the vibration mode using the conversion value for the motor excitation force and the output of the vibration sensor; and a vibration mode output unit that outputs the vibration mode.

Vibration mode determining apparatus

A numerical control apparatus that controls a machine tool including a plurality of linear axes and rotation axes, and controls a relative tool posture with respect to work on a table includes a program reading unit that sequentially reads a tool posture with respect to the work from a machining program, a determining unit that determines whether the read tool posture is within a predetermined tool posture range, a tool-posture control unit that determines control content of the tool posture according to the determination by the determining unit, and an interpolation/acceleration and deceleration processing unit that controls the linear and rotation axes according to the control content of the tool posture. When the read tool posture is within the predetermined range, the tool-posture control unit determines rotation axis angles of the rotation axes such that a change of tool posture from the last tool posture is limited.

Numerical control apparatus

A numerical control device reads a machining program and causes a machine tool to operate based on the machining program. The numerical control device includes: an acceleration-deceleration determining unit; and a position-command generating unit. The numerical control device is configured to set the acceleration and the deceleration as acceleration-deceleration data when the acceleration and the deceleration satisfy tolerances decided based on actual mechanical dynamic characteristics, and set the tolerances as acceleration-deceleration data when the acceleration and deceleration do not satisfy the tolerances. The position-command generating unit is configured to generate a position command based on the moving command, the acceleration-deceleration data, and the speed at the end of the command route and the superimposition amount subjected to processing by the acceleration-deceleration determining unit.

Machining program creating device numerical control device, machining system, machining program creating method, numerical control method, and machining program

A numerical control device that controls, in a machine tool, driving of a motor based on a machining program is provided. The numerical control device includes a position-command generating unit configured to generate a position command to the motor and a mark-command generating unit configured to generate a mark command for machining of a mark indicating that an abnormality occurs in the machining. The mark-command generating unit sequentially stores information concerning a moving route of the tool by the machining and generates, when an alarm is raised because the abnormality is detected, as the mark command, a moving command for moving the tool in a direction opposite to a direction during the machining while correcting a position of the tool in a tool axis direction with respect to a position during the machining, and the position-command generating unit generates the position command based on the mark command.

A numerical controller obtains a position of each driving shaft of a machine performing determination of a feeding speed, interpolation and coordinate conversion according to a relative instruction path and an instruction speed of a tool tip point relative to a work instructed to a processing program. When determining the feeding speed, a reference point is provided on a tool or a table, a translation speed of the reference point viewed from a mechanical coordinate system is set to an observation target speed, a reference feeding speed is obtained so that the observation target speed is a predetermined reference speed, and the smaller of the reference feeding speed and the instruction feeding speed is set to the feeding speed.
