A contactless parallel data transfer device which is miniature, highly densed, and highly reliable having a coil block consisting of a first coil group installed in a portable memory and a coil block consisting of a second coil group installed in a data server for transferring access data in parallel between the portable memory (memory card, etc.) and the data server by contactless coupling, wherein the opposite coils of the first and second coil blocks are held close and opposite to each other on a contactless basis, and a parallel pulse group which is transferred in parallel between the both coil blocks is divided at least into a first parallel pulse group consisting of the first number of bits and a second parallel pulse group consisting of the second number of bits, and the parallel transfer timings of the both parallel pulse groups are different from each other, and an induced signal to the neighboring coils of each opposite coil pair of the first and second coil blocks is negated in the opposite phase.

Noise reduced contactless parallel data transfer device and method

An electromagnetic coupling connector for transferring data by an electromagnetic coupling system, including a plurality of data transfer coils for transferring data, disposed at an end portion of a side surface of the connector, a waveform shaper for shaping a waveform of a data signal received by the data transfer coils, and a connector for transferring the signal obtained by the waveform shaper to an equipment to which the electromagnetic coupling connector is fitted. The electromagnetic coupling connector may include a signal transmission/reception portion and a power transmission or reception portion, the signal transmission/reception portion includes a signal amplification circuit, a waveform shaping circuit, a serial/parallel signal conversion circuit and a parallel/serial signal conversion circuit, the power transmission portion includes an oscillation circuit, and the power reception portion includes a rectification/smoothing circuit and a constant voltage.

Non-contact system parallel data transfer system

A fabricating method of a laminated semiconductor device wherein two or more semiconductor chips are stacked as tape carrier packages and the tape carrier packages are mounted on at least one side of the printed wiring board so that outer connection leads provided in the tape carrier packages are stacked to be connected to the terminal porions of the printed wiring package, which includes stacking two or more tape carrier packages and aligning the outer connection leads of the tape carrier packages in the stacked direction, temporarily bonding the stacked outer connection leads to one another to combine the stacked tape carrier packages into one block, and placing the block on the printed wiring board and passing the terminal portions formed on the printed wiring board and lowermost outer connection leads of the block through a heating furnace to thereby solder them.

Laminated semiconductor device and fabricating method thereof

A composite magnetic head having a recording/playback head and an erasing head combined in one unit through a nonmagnetic material is constructed such that at least one of two core halves constituting the erasing head adjacent to the recording and reproducing head is made of single crystal ferrite, a plane (100) of the single crystal ferrite is substantially parallel to a principal magnetic path-forming plane, and an angle .theta. between an orientation &lt;100&gt; existing in the plane (100) and an operating gap (magnetic gap)-forming plane is in the range of 10.degree.-40.degree. or 80.degree.-120.degree.. The composite magnetic head thus constructed can be made to have a reduced distance between magnetic gaps of both heads so as to be suited for being attached to the compact high-density recording and reproducing apparatus while eliminating crosstalk.

Composite magnetic head

A magnetic head for write and read of information, the core of which is at least in part composed of magnetic metal thin layers and non-magnetic intermediate metal oxide layers alternately laminated is provided. The metal is a cobalt base amorphous alloy or permalloy and the metal oxide is selected from SiO, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, MgO and BaTiO.sub.3, which has a Vickers hardness of not less than 200 to less than 1,200. The use of the magnetic head does not injure a magnetic recording medium and contributes to improvement of the durability of the magnetic recording medium.

In a magnetic head comprising a first and second core halves bonded together defining a magnetic gap, an non-magnetic thin layer is formed on the surface of each core half facing to the magnetic gap using materials which are substantially chemically non-reactive with the component of an amorphous metallic magnetic thin layer of each half and low melting point glass, and low melting point glass thin layer formed on the non-magnetic thin layer made of glass having a melting of point of temperature lower than the crystallization temperature of the amorphous metallic magnetic thin layer.

In manufacturing a magnetic head having a magnetic circuit formed of magnetic material in which anisotropy can be induced, the magnetic head is processed by a first annealing process in a magnetic field for inducing anisotropy to generate an axis of easy magnetization in one direction in a part of the magnetic material, subsequently the magnetic head is processed by a second annealing process for annealing the magnetic material, applying the magnetic field in one of the directions perpendicular to the axis of the easy magnetization so as to relax the anisotropy induced by the first annealing process.

A composite type magnetic head wherein a functional gap is formed by a pair of opposing magnetic metal substance members coupled to a substrate of a nonmagnetic substance and include a head front surface facing a magnetic recording medium. A coil portion is provided rearwardly of the head front surface and includes a coil window provided between the pair of magnetic metal substance members and a coil for encircling both the nonmagnetic substance substrate and at least one of the magnetic metal substance members coupled to the substrate. A rear core portion is provided rearwardly of the coil portion and is magnetically coupled with the magnetic metal substance members, the rear core portion including at least a part made of a high permeability ferrite.

A magnetic head having a pair of core halves each combined through a magnetic gap, each of the core halves comprising a core base having slanted side surfaces on the side opposing to the magnetic gap and a magnetic thin layer formed on the surfaces of the core base on the side opposing the magnetic gap with magnetic material of high saturation magnetic flux density, the minimum value of the sum of products of vertical cross sectional areas of the respective magnetic paths of each of the core halves except for the path of the magnetic gap and the respective saturation magnetic flux densities of the respective parts is greater than the product of the area of the magnetic gap and the saturation magnetic flux density of the magnetic thin layer.
