A blade portion that rotates integrally with a target shaft portion is provided between a target outer peripheral surface that is an outer peripheral surface of the target shaft portion and a tubular inner peripheral surface of a case. A first opening that communicates with a first oil passage is located away, on a first axial side, from a second opening that communicates with a second oil passage. The first oil passage communicates with an oil reservoir. The second oil passage communicates with a target space to which oil is supplied. Assuming that a forward rotation state is a rotation state of each part when a wheel is rotating in a direction in which a vehicle moves forward, the blade portion force-feeds the oil to a second axial side when the target shaft portion is in the forward rotation state.

Vehicle drive device

An air chamber serving as a breather chamber and a breather hole that communicates the outside of a case and the air chamber can be easily molded, and breather hole is provided so as to have a degree of freedom in an installation position and volume, so that oil does not easily blow out from case in which rotary electric machine is housed. Case housing rotary electric machine has an inner and outer case portion. Inner case portion has a first coupling portion. Outer case portion has a second coupling portion. The first and second coupling portions are fixed to each other. An air chamber communicated with an inside of inner case portion is formed between outer surface of inner case portion and inner surface of outer case portion. A breather hole that communicates air chamber and an outside of case is formed in outer case portion.

Rotary electric machine

A vehicle drive apparatus includes: a rotary electric machine disposed on a first axis; a differential gear mechanism disposed on a second axis; an output member disposed on the second axis; an inverter device; and a case. The case is a single-piece case internally including: a first housing chamber housing the rotary electric machine; and a second housing chamber housing the inverter device and divided from the first housing chamber with a partition. At least a specified portion of the output member is housed in the first housing chamber. A location of the specified portion in an axial direction overlaps with the rotary electric machine. The partition is provided between the specified portion and the inverter device.

Vehicle drive apparatus

A vehicle drive device includes a rotary electric machine disposed on a first axis, an output member disposed on a second axis parallel to the first axis, an inverter device, a terminal block for electrically connecting a rotary electric machine-side bus bar and an inverter-side bus bar, and a case. The case includes a first housing chamber for housing the rotary electric machine MG, a second housing chamber for housing the inverter device, and a partition wall for separating the first housing chamber and the second housing chamber. A terminal block is disposed such that an arrangement area of the terminal block in an axial direction overlaps the rotary electric machine, and disposed so as to penetrate the partition wall in a radial direction of the output member.

A driving force transmitting device includes a case, an electric motor, and a gearbox. The electric motor includes an output shaft. The gearbox includes a spur gear that rotates coaxially with the output shaft. The case includes a partition wall, a first accommodating chamber accommodating the electric motor, and a second accommodating chamber that accommodates a second driven gear. The partition separates the first accommodating chamber and the second accommodating chamber from each other. The partition wall includes a connecting hole that connects the first accommodating chamber and the second accommodating chamber to each other. The connecting hole is located on one direction side in relation to the central axis of the output shaft. At least part of the connecting hole overlaps with the spur gear when viewed in a direction along the central axis.

Driving force transmitting device

A vehicle drive system including: a rotating electric machine; an output drivingly coupled to a wheel; a differential gear device provided in a power transmission path between the rotating electric machine and the output, the differential gear device including at least a first rotating element drivingly coupled to the rotating electric machine, a second rotating element drivingly coupled to the output, and a third rotating element that is selectively fixed by a one-way clutch to a non-rotating member and that is selectively fixed by a friction brake to the non-rotating member; and a clutch that selectively couples together two of the first rotating element, the second rotating element, and the third rotating element.

Vehicle drive system

A vehicle drive apparatus includes: a sleeve including a first peripheral surface provided side by side with a spline; a connecting member including a groove provided side by side with a spline in spline engagement with the spline, recessed radially relative to the first peripheral surface, and including a bottom surface that serves as a second peripheral surface facing the first peripheral surface; and a tolerance ring disposed in the groove so as to exert a radial elastic force between the sleeve and the connecting member.

A power transmission apparatus includes an oil pump disposed between a hydraulic controller and a strainer. Rotation of the rotor () causes oil to be sucked into an oil chamber (c) defined by the rotor (), and the oil is pressurized and discharged therefrom. The housing is provided with a first oil passage () through which oil sucked from a reservoir through the strainer flows toward the oil chamber, and a second oil passage () through which oil refluxed from the hydraulic controller flows toward the oil chamber. The second oil passage () includes a curved oil passage curved along the rotor () and is disposed such that the oil refluxed from the hydraulic controller flows in a rotation direction of the rotor () through the curved oil passage.

Power transmission apparatus

A speed change device where the plurality of oil holes have a plurality of first oil holes that are closest to the piston in the axial direction and that are disposed side by side in a circumferential direction, and a plurality of different oil holes that are farther from the piston than the plurality of first oil holes in the axial direction, the plurality of oil holes enabling the working oil to be supplied to spaces between the plurality of inner friction plates and the outer friction plates; and a number of the plurality of different oil holes is smaller than a number of the plurality of first oil holes, the plurality of different oil holes being disposed side by side in the circumferential direction at a position that is farther from the piston than the plurality of first oil holes in the axial direction.

A manufacturing method for a joint part in which a first metal piece and a second metal piece are joined to each other by performing welding by irradiating a high-energy beam to a joint surface on which the first metal piece and the second metal piece face each other, the first metal piece including a first flow path for passage of a fluid provided at a specific depth from a surface on a side exposed to the high-energy beam, the second metal piece including a second flow path for passage of the fluid provided at a specific depth from the surface on the side exposed to the high-energy beam, and the first flow path and the second flow path being coupled to each other on the joint surface.

Power transfer device

In an automatic transmission including a deceleration planetary gear and a hydraulic clutch, the hydraulic clutch includes a clutch drum, a clutch hub, first and second friction engagement plates, a piston, and an engagement oil chamber defining member. The clutch hub is formed by a ring gear and a support member that rotates together with the ring gear. The piston is movably supported by the clutch hub. The piston and the support member define a cancel oil chamber that cancels a centrifugal oil pressure generated in an engagement oil chamber.

Automatic transmission

When engagement of a lockup clutch is initiated, coupling of the lockup clutch is initiated in a state where a working fluid amount is sufficiently ensured by setting a condition that an engine rotation speed is higher than or equal to a limit engine rotation speed. Thus, it is possible to prevent rapid engagement of the lockup clutch. Here, the limit engine rotation speed is appropriately determined on the basis of a line pressure, and it is possible to reduce a delay of coupling of the lockup clutch by ensuring the working fluid amount while preventing rapid engagement of the lockup clutch.

A reservoir plate for dividing an inside of a transmission case into a differential chamber and a hydraulic oil storage chamber includes: a cylindrical portion covering a part of a differential gear; a flange portion radially extending from the cylindrical portion; and a differential ring surrounding portion extending from an outer circumferential edge of the flange portion so that a part of a differential ring gear is covered from above without interfering with a drive pinion gear. The cylindrical portion, the flange portion, and the differential ring surrounding portion are integrally formed with each other. A seal member is interposed between the transmission case and the outer circumferential edge of the flange portion at least in the range below the differential ring surrounding portion.

Power transmission device

A power transmission apparatus including a transmission, a case that accommodates the transmission, a counter drive gear to which power from the transmission is transmitted, and a counter driven gear that meshes with the counter drive gear, the power transmission apparatus including: a brake that fixes any rotational element of the transmission to the case so as not to be rotatable; and supporting member that is fixed to the case via a fastening member and that supports the counter drive gear so as to be rotatable, wherein the supporting member is integrally molded with a cylindrical drum portion that functions as a brake drum of the brake.
