In an axial gap motor, a rotor includes a plurality of rotor cores fixed in a circumferential direction of a rotor base, and a stator includes a plurality of stator cores fixed in a circumferential direction of a stator base, and coils wound around the stator cores. End faces of each of the rotor cores and end faces of the corresponding stator core are opposed to each other while being exposed to each other.

Axial gap motor with curved rotor and stator cores

A motor includes a rotor fixed to a rotary shaft, a stator arranged so as to surround the rotor with a gap from the rotor in a radial direction orthogonal to an axis direction of the rotary shaft, and a case accommodating the rotor and the stator. The rotor includes a plurality of rotor cores made from a soft magnetic material, and a rotor fixing member that fixes the rotor cores. The stator includes a plurality of stator cores made from a soft magnetic material, a stator fixing member that fixes the stator cores, and coils wound around the stator cores, respectively. A stator is for a rotary electric machine. The stator includes a stator core includes a stator yoke having an annular shape, teeth being projected to an inner diameter side from the stator yoke, coils wound around the teeth, and a reinforcing member. The reinforcing member has a ring shape, and fixed to an axial end surface at a tip of each of the teeth. The tip is a portion on the inner diameter side of an arrangement range of the coil. The reinforcing member is a non-magnetic body.

A stator for a electric motor, the stator including: a stator core including a yoke having an annular shape, and a plurality of teeth protruding from an inner circumferential surface of the yoke in a stator radial direction; a stator coil wound around the teeth, the stator coil being configured to generate a rotating magnetic field as a current is applied thereto; and a cancel coil extending in a stator axial direction at positions on the inner circumferential side and the outer circumferential side relative to the yoke, the cancel coil being wound around the stator core so as to extend in the stator radial direction and traverse the yoke at positions outside the stator core in the stator axial direction, and constituting one or more closed circuits.

A rotary electric machine configured with a stator, rotor, and permanent magnets disposed in an inverted V-shape that becomes gradually narrower from a side of a center of rotation of the rotor. The rotor is provided with a plurality of support portions that extend radially about the center of rotation, and gap portions are respectively formed in correspondence with the plurality of support portions at positions spaced by a predetermined distance from an edge portion of the permanent magnets in a flowing direction of magnetic flux between the permanent magnets and the stator. The gap portions are formed to have such a length that causes magnetic saturation during generation of low torque in a low-current state and that causes no magnetic saturation during generation of maximum torque in a high-current state in which electricity at a high current is supplied to the stator coil.
