An easily openable container comprises (a) a multilayer container body which includes an innermost layer and an adjacent layer contacting the innermost layer, a recessed portion and a flange and (b) a lid member melt sealed to the innermost layer of the multilayer container body at the flange, where the innermost layer and the adjacent layer are peelable from each other and having between them a peel strength smaller than the peel strength between the lid member and the innermost layer. The flange has two circular notches made in the innermost layer, and the multilayer container body and the lid member are melt sealed between the two circular notches, with the proviso that a portion of the melt sealed area projects outwardly from the outer circular notch, and a depression is made in the innermost layer at the outermost edge of the projecting portion of the melt sealed area by pressing the innermost layer through the lid member. Opening is performed by the peeling off the innermost layer together with the lid member from the adjacent layer of the multilayer container body between the two circular notch and begins easily by breaking the innermost layer at the depression at the outermost edge of the projecting portion of the melt sealed area.

A multilayer container having a flange portion and an easily-openable packaging container packaged by using said multilayer container, wherein the interlaminar strength of said multilayer container is smaller than the peelig strength between said flange portion and the lid member, and a ring notch is provided to an inner surface layer of the flange portion inside a heat seal portion. The packaging container has both of a good sealing property and an easy openability and has an excellent resistance to boiling and retort treatment, and peeled surface has a good appearance. A container, a method of an an apparatus for forming cuts in the container are disclosed. Weakening lines serving as cutting lines are formed on inside of the sealing portion and outside of the flange portion of the container, and a non-sealing region is formed at the position at which a part of the outer weakening line is included. These weakening lines can be formed by rotating the container and bringing the notching blades into contact with the flange portion.

A method of manufacturing a multi-layer resin material by employing a plurality of kinds of thermoplastic resin. Resins for inner and outer layers are supplied into a feed block of a feed block type T-die coextrusion apparatus where they are laid up another, and are then sent to the T-die side. In this case, a resin which is practically similar to the resin for the outer layer is supplied as an auxiliary resin to both lateral edges of the multi-layer resins within the feed block. Easily-openable packaging container having notched inner surface layer

A resin laminate is disclosed, which comprises a gas permeation-resistant resin layer having laminated on each side thereof a polyolefin based resin layer, wherein said polyolefin based resin layer contains an inorganic filler in an amount of 30 to 80% by weight based on the total weight of the resin composition. The resin laminate may be provided with a thermoplastic resin layer containing no inorganic filler on the outersurface thereof. The resin laminate has a minimized oxygen gas permeability and has a low calorific value and is useful as a packaging material.

An easily-openable packaging container comprises a container body and a multilayer lid member heat-sealed at the flange portion of the container body, in which the multilayer lid member has an interlaminar strength smaller than the adhesion strength between said flange portion and the inner layer of the multilayer lid member so that the multilayer lid member can be delaminated at a portion corresponding to the heat-seal portion at the time of opening, and a means for circularly peeling the inner layer of the miltilayer lid member from the outer edge of the heat-seal portion to the inner edge or inner vicinity of the heat-seal portion is provided.
