A damper device includes a first rotor, a second rotor rotatable relative to the first rotor, a plurality of elastic members circumferentially aligned, an intermediate member, and a hysteresis generating mechanism. The intermediate member is disposed axially between the first rotor and the second rotor. The hysteresis generating mechanism is disposed axially between the first rotor and the second rotor to generate a hysteresis torque in relative rotation between the first rotor and the second rotor. The intermediate member includes an annular portion and a support portion. The annular portion is provided radially outside the plurality of elastic members. The support portion protrudes radially inward from the annular portion. The support portion is disposed between at least circumferentially adjacent two of the plurality of elastic members. The support portion actuates the at least circumferentially adjacent two of the plurality of elastic members in series.

Damper device

A hysteresis torque generating mechanism includes a first rotor having a slide surface, and a second rotor opposed to the first rotor. The second rotor is configured to slide against the slide surface of the first rotor so as to generate a hysteresis torque. The second rotor includes an initial contact portion and a main friction surface. The initial contact portion is provided to protrude toward the first rotor. The initial contact portion is configured to slide in contact with the slide surface of the first rotor. The main friction surface is configured to slide in contact with the slide surface of the first rotor after abrasion of the initial contact portion.

Hysteresis torque generating mechanism and power transmission device

A damper device includes a first rotary member, a second rotary member, a plurality of coil springs, an intermediate member and a slide spring. The first rotary member is a member into which a power of an engine is inputted. The second rotary member is disposed to be rotatable with respect to the first rotary member. The plurality of coil springs are configured to be compressed between the first rotary member and the second rotary member. The intermediate member is configured to engage the plurality of coil springs and couple the plurality of coil springs together. The slide spring is disposed axially between the first rotary member and the intermediate member. The slide spring is configured to slide against the first rotary member. The slide spring is configured not to slide with respect to the intermediate member.

A spring assembly includes a first coil spring and a second coil spring. The second coil spring includes a first winding portion and a second winding portion. The first winding portion includes a plurality of windings from a first winding to at least a second winding. The second winding portion is a portion except for the first winding portion. An outer diameter of each of the plurality of windings of the first winding portion is smaller than an outer diameter of each of at least one winding of the second winding portion. Each of the plurality of windings of the first winding portion includes the substantially same outer diameter.

Spring assembly and damper device including spring assembly

A damper device is provided with a first rotating body, a second rotating body, a coil spring and a spring seat. The coil spring is interposed in a circumferential direction between the first and second rotating bodies. The resin spring seat includes a seat portion, an overhang portion and a pair of clamping protrusions. The overhang portion extends in the circumferential direction from an outer diameter end of the seat portion and covers an outer diameter side of the coil spring. The clamping protrusions protrude from the seat portion and sandwich an attaching portion of the one of the rotating bodies. The clamping protrusions are relatively turnable in a radial direction of the rotating bodies. The clamping protrusions have a low-rigidity portion on an outer diameter direction side of the spring central axis and a high-rigidity portion on an inner diameter direction side of the spring central axis.

A damper device is provided with a first rotating body, a second rotating body, a coil spring and a spring seat. The coil spring is interposed in a circumferential direction between the first and second rotating bodies. The resin spring seat includes a metallic core member inside. The resin spring seat has a seat portion and an overhang portion. The metallic core member has includes a metallic core seat part with a metallic core exposed portion. The metallic core seat part is provided along the spring seating surface in the seat portion of the spring seats. The metallic core exposed portion is exposed so as to be capable of abutting the coil springs. The metallic core exposed portion is provided on a portion of the spring seating surface which slides against the coil springs.

A damper device is provided with a first rotating body, a second rotating body, a coil spring and a spring seat. The coil spring is interposed in a circumferential direction between the first and second rotating bodies. The resin spring seat includes a metallic core member inside. The resin spring seat has a seat portion and an overhang portion. The metallic core member has an overhang metallic core part that has a low-rigidity portion and a high-rigidity portion. The low-rigidity portion is provided on a side close to the seat portion with a relatively lower rigidity. The high-rigidity portion is provided on a side far from the seat portion with a relatively higher rigidity.

A flywheel assembly includes a first rotary member, a second rotary member, a first coil spring, a second coil spring, an intermediate plate, a first stopper mechanism and a first contact relief member. The first coil spring is configured to be compressed between the first rotary member and the second rotary member. The second coil spring is configured to be compressed between the first rotary member and the second rotary member and has a stiffness greater than a stiffness of the first coil spring. The intermediate member is engaged with the first coil spring and the second coil spring and couples the first coil spring and the second coil spring in series. The first stopper mechanism is configured to deactivate the first coil spring. The first contact relief member is movably disposed inside the first coil spring and is capable of relieving the contact in the first stopper mechanism during activation of the first coil spring.

A damper device includes a first rotary member, a second rotary member, a plurality of coil springs, an intermediate member and a positioning structure. The first rotary member is a member into which a power of an engine is inputted. The second rotary member is disposed to be rotatable with respect to the first rotary member. The plurality of coil springs are configured to be compressed between the first rotary member and the second rotary member. The intermediate member is engaged with the plurality of coil springs and couples the plurality of coil springs together. The positioning structure radially positions the intermediate member with respect to at least either of the first rotary member and the second rotary member on an inner peripheral side.
