An orthogonal state measuring device includes a measurement table and a CCD camera displacing in X, Y, and Z directions relative to the measurement table and measuring a work piece placed on the measurement table. The orthogonal state measuring device further includes a wide angle surveillance camera, a computer main body, and a display. The wide angle surveillance camera captures in one pass an image that is capable of configuring a bird's-eye image of the work piece, the bird's-eye image encompassing an entire field over which the CCD camera is capable of relative displacement. The computer main body generates the bird's-eye image based on the image and defines a position of the CCD camera on the bird's-eye image, then configures navigation maps in which the position of the CCD camera is composited on the bird's-eye image. The display displays the navigation maps.

Orthogonal state measuring device

An image measurement device according to the present invention comprises: a stage on which a measurement object is mounted; an imaging device imaging the measurement object for a certain imaging range and outputting image information; a position control device that moves the imaging device to a plurality of measurement positions and scans in a scanning direction; and an arithmetic processing device that calculates a displacement of the measurement object. The imaging device is configured capable of imaging a preliminary measurement range broader than the certain imaging range. The arithmetic processing device, prior to a main measurement that measures the displacement of the measurement object at each measurement position, makes a preliminary measurement based on the image information corresponding to the preliminary measurement range, and sets a scanning range of the imaging device at each measurement position during the main measurement based on a result of this preliminary measurement.

Image measurement device and controlling method of the same

A shape measuring method includes guiding light emitted from a light source to an object to be measured and a reference surface, combining light reflected from the object to be measured with light reflected from the reference surface, and taking a distribution image of an interference light intensity corresponding to each measurement position of the object to be measured, while changing an optical path length difference between a first optical path length and a second optical path length over a whole scanning zone, sequentially storing distribution images of the interference light intensity in the whole scanning zone, and obtaining an interference light intensity string at each measurement position based on the stored distribution images of the interference light intensity, and obtaining a position in an optical axis direction at each measurement position of the object to be measured from a peak position of the interference light intensity string.

Shape measuring method and shape measuring apparatus

An image measuring apparatus includes a strobe illumination unit, a camera, a movement mechanism, and a controller. The controller includes a focus position detector that detects the focus position of the camera by controlling the movement mechanism to move the camera along the optical axis of the camera at a predetermined velocity and by controlling the camera to pick up an image of a measurement target object at plural positions. The focus position detector includes an illumination control unit that controls the lighting time of the strobe illumination unit, thereby controlling the brightness of illumination, a relative position acquisition unit that acquires the position of the camera at the center of the lighting time, and a contrast detection unit that detects the contrast of the image picked up by the camera.
