A liquid ejecting head includes a liquid flow channel including nozzles constituting a nozzle row configured to eject a liquid, a dummy flow channel including dummy nozzles constituting a dummy nozzle row not configured to eject liquid, and a closing section formed by an adhesive and closing the dummy flow channel.

A flow path member includes a cover divided into a base unit and a cover unit. Flow path grooves are provided on one side of faces of the cover unit and the base unit which face each other. The flow path grooves extend in a first direction and are aligned in a second direction. An elastic sealing member is arranged between the facing faces and configures a part of a flow path wall face by covering the flow path grooves. An abutting unit is provided on one side of the base unit and the cover unit, protrudes toward the other side, and comes into contact with the other side. The abutting unit may be provided on both sides of the flow path groove in any one direction and may be extended along the other direction. The base unit and the cover unit may be fixed using a fastening member.

A flow path member includes a first space which is opened by a first liquid flow path, and into which liquid flows from the first liquid flow path; a second space which is opened by a second liquid flow path on a bottom surface at the opposite side to the first space, and out of which liquid flows from the second liquid flow path; a filter which filters liquid passing therethrough, and which is included between the first space and the second space; and a support which protrudes from the bottom surface of the second space toward the filter side, in which the support is a point-form projection.

A liquid ejecting head includes a first casing, a second casing, a seal member and a valve assembly. The first casing is fixed to the second casing with the seal member therebetween. A storage space is created in the first casing and the second casing. The valve assembly is accommodated in the storage space and forms a channel along which liquid flows. The valve assembly is fixed to the first casing and separated from the second casing.
