Provided is a boxing apparatus that pushes a plurality of articles into a box, whose opening may face sideways, from the side and, thereafter, change the posture of the box by rotating the box so that the opening faces upward, wherein the possibility that the articles fly out of the box when changing the posture is reduced and the posture of the box can be changed in a short period of time. The boxing apparatus may include a push-in mechanism, a holding and posture changing mechanism, and a guide/holding member.

Boxing apparatus

A push-in mechanism pushes articles into a box that is opened sideways. The push-in mechanism is provided with a box standby part, an article placement part, a push-in plate, a horizontal movement mechanism, and a lifting/lowering mechanism. The box standby part causes the boxes to wait. The article placement part has a placement surface on which the articles are temporarily placed. The push-in plate is installed in a standing state so as to have a pressing surface for pressing the articles toward the box. The horizontal movement mechanism causes the push-in plate to reciprocate horizontally above the placement surface so that the push-in plate moves toward the box or moves away from the box. The lifting/lowering mechanism moves the push-in plate so as to change a separation distance in the height direction between a lower edge of the pressing surface and the placement surface.

Push-in mechanism and box packing device provided with same

Provided is a highly reliable box-opening device being capable of suppressing failures of a box-opening action regardless of a size of a cardboard box sheet. The box-opening device unfolds a sheet in which first and second side surfaces and third and fourth side surfaces overlap, and forms a square-tube-shaped cardboard box. The box-opening device may have a suction disk to grasp the first side surface, a main arm having suction disks to grasp the fourth side surface and changing a posture while grasping the fourth side surface, and a control part to control a movement of the main arm so that an initial action, in which a gap is formed between the first and second side surfaces and the third and fourth side surfaces, and a main action that follows the initial action, are executed as an action of unfolding the sheet.

Box-opening device

A box packing system includes a frame, a cardboard sheet feeder, a box making section and a box packing device. The cardboard sheet feeder is configured to lift one of a plurality of cardboard sheets from a cardboard sheet stacking area of the frame. The cardboard sheets are in an upright state within the cardboard sheet stacking area and are folded or collapsed. The box making section re-shapes the cardboard sheet unfolding the cardboard sheet and transforms the cardboard sheet into a cardboard box where a bottom lid is closed and a top lid is opened defining an opening of the cardboard box. The box packing device has a dropping part that moves the cardboard box in a laterally opened state downwardly to s located filling position and a pushing part that pushes an article into the opening of the cardboard box while within the filling position.

Box packing device

A box packing device includes a dropping part configured to drops a laterally opened cardboard box in the state in which the lateral flaps of the cardboard box are open before and after dropping. The dropping part has an upper guide mechanism and a lower guide mechanism. The upper guide mechanism includes first upper guide portions that oppose front faces of the flaps and second upper guide portions that oppose rear faces of the flaps. The lower guide mechanism includes a first lower movable guide portion and a first lower fixed guide portion that oppose the front faces of the flaps, second lower guide portions that oppose the rear faces of the flaps, and a first drive unit for driving the second lower guide portions towards the first lower guide portion.

A bag manufacturing and packaging system includes a vertical bag manufacturing and packaging machine, a conveyor part, a pair of rotating brushes and a guide member. The vertical bag manufacturing and packaging machine is arranged to manufacture a bag, and to cut out and eject the bag. The conveyor part is disposed in a downstream portion to receive the bag at a predetermined position to convey the bag. The rotating brushes are positioned between the vertical bag manufacturing and packaging machine and the conveyor part to sandwich the bag ejected from the vertical bag manufacturing and packaging machine to send the bag to the predetermined position. The guide member is disposed between the rotating brushes to guide the bag conveyed between the rotating brushes toward a center portion of the rotational brushes with respect to a direction parallel to rotational axes of the rotating brushes.
