The present invention relates to migrating volumes among computers in a computer system. According to the migration method of the present invention, a setting of a storage apparatus is changed so that the volume having been used by the migration source host is accessible by the migration destination host, and then a volume recognition process is performed in the migration destination host. As a result of the volume recognition process, if it is detected in the migration destination host that multiple device files are created in a duplicated manner with respect to a single volume provided by the storage apparatus, the migration destination host deletes the device files created in a duplicated manner leaving one device file.

A working vehicle with a transverse system, wherein when a traveling mode is switched to transverse traveling, a switching valve is switched to feed a full flow of pressure oil from a hydraulic pump to a flow divider. The flow divider controls the flow to allow a specified amount of flow to flow to a control valve for a hydraulic operating device. The control valve controls only the pressure oil required for steering to allow oil to flow to the hydraulic operating device so as to operate a hydraulic operating device to rotate both swing members about a vertical axis, thereby to steer both front wheels through 90 degrees. After both front wheels are steered, the vehicle can run transversely in lateral directions by controllably rotating both front wheels. When the traveling mode is switched to transverse traveling, misalignment of straight-ahead driving due to poor road surface conditions and weight imbalance can be corrected easily by operating the hydraulic operating device slightly to steer both front wheels facing inward or outward through a smaller angle. A specified amount of pressure oil can be fed through the flow divider to the control valve irrespective of the flow of the pressure oil from the hydraulic pump.

A fork lift with a laterally travelling system, wherein when a running mode is switched from a normal running in which right and left front wheels and rear wheels face in a longitudinal direction to a lateral running, rotating means is operated to rotate a turning member about a vertical axis in order to change the direction of the front wheels relative to that of a vehicle body, a change in running direction can be performed smoothly because the front wheels are formed integrally with a running drive device, and the front wheels are driven in forward and reverse directions by the running drive device after the front wheels are turned to face sideways so that a fork lift can run laterally and the rear wheels can be changed in direction in a follow-up manner by a turning caster system or can be changed in direction forcibly in the same manner as the front wheels, whereby the wheels of a drive system, though the fork lift is of a type capable of performing a normal forking operation, can be steered to face sideways so that it can run laterally to, for example, perform transportation of long materials with ease through a fork.
