A transaction terminal device includes an orientation detecting unit that detects the orientation of an information processing device with respect to the orientation of gravity, and an information processing unit that displays a work screen of work categories on a display unit based on display attributes for changing of the orientation of the information processing device configured for each of the work categories. When the display attributes are permitted for rotating the work screen based on the changing of the orientation of the information processing device, the information processing unit displays the respective elements constituting the work screen in the position/orientation based on the detected result by the orientation detecting unit. When the display attributes are prohibited from rotating the work screen, the information processing unit displays the respective elements constituting the work screen in the fixed position/orientation independent from the detected result by the orientation detecting unit.

Transaction terminal device, information processing device and information processing method

An information processing device includes a non-secure information processor and a secure information processor that are each accommodated in a housing. A first input display and a second input display are each provided on an operational surface of the housing. A boundary is between a first end side of the housing and a second end side of the housing, with the second end side of the housing being opposite to the first end side of the housing across the first input display and the second input display. A color or a surface treatment of a first portion of the first end side of the housing corresponding to the non-secure information processor is distinguishable from a color or a surface treatment of a second portion of the second end side of the housing corresponding to the secure information processor.

Information processing device and portable settlement terminal device

A non-secure display area and a secure display area are set on a screen of a display section of a touch panel TP. A non-secure input area and a secure input area are set on a detection surface of a touch input detector of the touch panel TP. In settlement processing, in a display area where the non-secure display area and the secure display area are overlapped, amount information is displayed. A message for urging authentication information input and a PIN pad are displayed in the secure display area. An operator can safely input PIN information to secure the input area through the PIN pad displayed in the secure display area. Even when the secure portion and the non-secure portion are present together, the settlement terminal device can secure the security of input authentication information or the like to suppress the operator's mistake or incorrect operation.

Information processing device

A payment settlement terminal device includes a housing that has a first surface having an operation display surface, a second surface at the opposite side of the operation display surface, and a step portion formed on one end side of the second surface in parallel with the end edge of one end side. A length of the housing in thickness direction in the one end side adjacent to the step portion is greater than a length of the housing in thickness direction in the other end side of the step portion, and a non-secure area not having tamper-resistance at the one end side of the housing and a secure area having the tamper-resistance at the other end side of the housing. A payment settlement terminal device is provided, in which the security can be ensured and the user can easily perform the payment settlement.

Information processing device and information processing method

An information processing device includes a first information processing unit that is accommodated in a housing, and in which a first input display section is provided on an operational surface of the housing, and a tamper-resistant secure second information processing unit that is accommodated in front of the first information processing unit in the housing gripped by an operator, and in which a second input display section is provided in front of the first input display section on the operational surface. Further, in the information processing device, for example, a secure state display section that indicates a secure mode in authentication input, or indicates a non-secure mode in a case other than the authentication input is disposed on the operational surface. Even when a secure portion and a non-secure portion are present together, security of authentication information is secured, and an operator's mistake or an incorrect operation is suppressed.
