The invention is a column contact apparatus for contacting gas with liquid in an upflow in a column container, containing two or more stages of honeycomb structural bodies in the column container in a vertical direction, a space portion formed between the respective stages of the honeycomb structural bodies and a flow-aligning portion as back-flow prevention means provided in the space portion between the respective stages such that the flow-aligning portion is not brought into contact with the honeycomb structural bodies, the flow-aligning portion including a plurality of holes with hole diameters of 0.5 mm to 8 mm.

Column contact apparatus and method for operating the same

The present invention discloses the method for producing a tertiary amine, using the column reactor packed with catalyst layers, containing supplying a liquid and a gaseous raw materials from the bottom of the column, reacting these raw materials in the column, and discharging the product from the top of the column, wherein the column reactor includes two or more honeycomb catalyst layers as the catalyst layers, one or more spaces between each honeycomb catalyst layer, and one or more rectifying sections that prevents a partial or whole back flow of the raw materials, arranged in each space without contacting with the honeycomb catalyst layer.

An evaporative pattern casting process in which a casting process plan capable of attaining the optimal discharge of generated gas can easily be decided. The evaporative pattern casting process can cast a product, and includes pouring a molten metal in a mold in which a pattern made of an expanded synthetic resin is embedded in molding sand, and evaporating the pattern with the molten metal, while gas generated by evaporation of the pattern is discharged outside the mold through a discharging passage including discharged gas suppressing device. The ventilation of the discharging passage is controlled on the basis of the material, the shape of the pattern, the kind of the molten metal, and the temperature of the molten metal.

Sublimation pattern casting method

Provided is an evaporative pattern casting process which ensures that smooth casting can be carried out without blow-back of a molten metal and a molding product having an excellent casting quality is obtained. The invention relates to an evaporative pattern casting process for casting a product, which comprises pouring a molten metal into a mold provided with a pattern with a through-hole, embedded in molding sand, and evaporating the pattern with the poured molten metal, gradually exhausting the gas generated by the evaporation of the pattern to the outside of the mold through an exhausting path provided with an exhaust gas-controlling means.
