A cover member covering a portion to which a component of an engine is attached includes: a front plate opposed to the portion; a first side plate located at one of both side edges of the front plate and including a first flexible portion protruding outward in the width direction and deflected inward by pressing inward, and a first tab protruding outward from the first flexible portion; a bottom plate located at a bottom edge of the front plate and including a second tab protruding toward the bottom side in the height direction, and a second flexible portion partially protruding toward the bottom side and deflected toward the top side by pressing toward the top side; a first restraining plate located at the top edge of the front plate; and a second side plate located at the other side edge of the front plate and including a second restraining plate.

Cover member

An internal combustion engine includes a first blow-by gas passage defined in a second wall. The internal combustion engine includes a second blow-by gas passage defined in a third wall. The internal combustion engine includes a third blow-by gas passage defined in a fourth wall. The first blow-by gas passage to the third blow-by gas passage connect an oil chamber and an oil separator to each other. The second wall includes a first connecting path. The fourth wall includes a second connecting path. The first connecting path connects the first crank chamber and the second crank chamber. The second connecting path connects the third crank chamber and the fourth crank chamber to each other. The third wall does not have a passage connecting the second crank chamber and the third crank chamber to each other.

Internal combustion engine

A cylinder head includes a pair of intake ports and a pair of exhaust ports disposed to face each other and disposed to surround a fuel injection valve, a first coolant path through which coolant flows from a position between the intake ports toward the fuel injection valve, a second coolant path through which coolant flows from a position between the exhaust ports toward the fuel injection valve, and a junction. The junction includes a facing wall that extends from a top surface of the junction toward the combustion chamber disposed on a lower side of the top surface and that faces a flow of coolant in at least one of the first and second coolant paths.
