A memory system includes a nonvolatile memory including first and second planes each including a plurality of memory cells, and a memory controller configured to transmit commands to the first and second planes via a first signal line and receive data from the first and second planes via a second signal line. The memory controller is configured such that, when the first plane is executing a first process, the memory controller suspends transmission of a first command instructing reservation of the first process to the second plane until a first condition is satisfied.

According to one embodiment, a memory system includes nonvolatile memory including a plurality of memory areas and a memory controller. A read operation includes a first operation of reading data from a memory cell array and a second operation of transmitting at least a part of the read data to the memory controller. The memory controller determines, when executing the read operation in a first memory area and a second memory area in parallel, priorities of the second operation in the first memory area and the second operation in the second memory area based on a result of comparison between (A) a first total time period of the read operation in the first memory area and (B) a second total time of the read operation in the second memory area.

A memory system includes a first volatile semiconductor memory, a second nonvolatile semiconductor memory that includes a plurality of blocks, and a controller configured to store management information in the first semiconductor memory in which identification information of the blocks and corresponding numbers of valid clusters of the blocks are stored and respectively associated with each other. Method of evaluating prostatic disease

An inkjet printing head prints an image on a printing medium located at a printing position facing the printing head, by a printing operation in which the printing head ejects ink onto the printing medium, and the printing head is capable of resuming the printing operation after suspension of the printing operation. A supporting unit supports the printing medium on which the image is printed by the printing head, and an adjusting unit is capable of adjusting a facing distance between the printing head and the supporting unit. It is intended to make it possible to deal with an electronic apparatus as if it were a different kind of electronic apparatus. An editor outputs a command to be used in controlling a video cassette recorder to a 1394 communication section via an IEEE 1394 bus. A system controller receives the command according to the IEEE 1394 interface via a LINK and converts it into a command according to the IDE interface, which is output to an IDE controller. The IDE controller converts data that is input via the LINK and a FIFO memory into a command according to the IDE interface and supplies it to a HDD via an IDE interface.

Data processing apparatus for modifying information data between two interfaces and using control data of one interface to control a second interface

A high-frequency oscillating circuit that is not degraded by external electromagnetic interference. The high-frequency oscillating circuit includes first and second oscillating transistors wherein the bases are connected together directly or via a capacitor having a sufficiently low impedance at an oscillating frequency, and wherein a differential signal output is obtained between the emitters of the first and second oscillating transistors. Also provided is a resonating circuit formed in a module and a separate negative-resistance-generating circuit formed on an integrated circuit for achieving an oscillator that has a high Q factor and a high C/N ratio.

High-frequency oscillating circuit

A frequency synthesizer that can switch an output frequency fast and generates little spurious output is provided. This frequency synthesizer comprises a phase locked loop including a voltage-controlled oscillator, a high frequency divider, a phase frequency comparator and a low-pass filter. The divisor controller circuit supplies a divisor that varies cyclically to the high frequency divider for a fractional dividing operation. When switching the output frequency, a passing bandwidth of the low-pass filter is enlarged to widen a loop bandwidth of the phase locking loop for fast switching. After switching, the passing bandwidth of the low-pass filter is reduced to narrow the loop bandwidth for reduction of a spurious output, at the timing when a predetermined period has passed for the switched output frequency to stabilize substantially.

The battery pack comprises a plus terminal (EB+) and a minus terminal (EB-) for supplying a current to the electronic device, a communication terminal (DATAB) for exchanging data with the electronic device, a connection terminal (BATTINB) connected to said electronic device when the plus terminal and the minus terminal are properly connected to the electronic device, battery status measuring elements (6, 7) for measuring the temperature and the voltage of the secondary battery, and CPU (1) for establishing one of operation modes in response to the voltages at the communication terminal and the connection terminal.
