A size reduction in an optical system that detects a fluorescent photon is achieved. A photon detection operation of a photon detection unit () is controlled on the basis of timing of an irradiation operation of an excitation light source (), and after excitation light emitted to a microfluidic channel () is switched off, a fluorescent photon generated by a target flowing in the microfluidic channel () is detected.

In-liquid microparticle analysis system and in-liquid microparticle analysis method

An object trapping device enables efficiently trapping a plurality of objects in a specific combination. Each of a first electrode pair (), a second electrode pair (), and a third electrode pair () in an electrode pair group () is applied with an individual AC voltage and traps an object by dielectrophoresis generated in accordance with the AC voltage that is applied.

Provided are a fluorescent testing system, a dielectrophoresis device, and a molecular testing method that measure only fluorescence emitted from a test object without separating excitation light and the fluorescence by an optical filter and that are able to prevent reduction of an application range of a type of the fluorescence. An integrated circuit sensor that enables, regardless of a type of an inspection object, the inspection object and a front surface of the integrated circuit sensor to be in reliable contact with each other in a large region is provided. A through silicon via () that electrically connects an inside of an integrated circuit sensor () and an outside of the integrated circuit sensor () is formed in the inside of the integrated circuit sensor () so as to reach a rear surface of the integrated circuit sensor (), which faces the front surface of the integrated circuit sensor ().

The oscillation unit has capacitors that are connected to an inspection object in series and changes the oscillation frequency in accordance with a complex dielectric constant of the inspection object.

Provided is a technology for detecting a change in an inspection target containing moisture. A sensor circuit () for inspecting property of an inspection target includes an oscillator () having a resonance frequency of 30 to 200 GHz, and a detection circuit () that estimates an oscillation frequency of the oscillator.

A receiver device is provided singly capable of applying demodulator circuits with differing frequency characteristics with respective signals of desired frequencies for the demodulator circuits. The receiver device in accordance with the present invention switches between a mode in which a digital signal having a frequency suitable for various signal processes is supplied to a DA converter and a mode in which a digital signal for which the IF frequency is about 30 MHz to 60 MHz is supplied to the DA converter, by using a switch and a wire.

A frequency converter that performs dual frequency conversion is provided. The frequency converter restricts noise occurrence and enables signal transfer with good linearity. The frequency converter performs dual conversion of a first signal (RF(+) and RF(&#x2212;)) by using two signals including a second signal (LO(+) and LO(&#x2212;)) and a third signal (LO(+) and LO(&#x2212;)). Using a balun and an amplifying circuit that performs input/output operations in a single-ended manner, the frequency converter restricts NF degradation. By feeding optimum values of current into the first and second switching circuits and into the amplifying circuit, NF and linearity are optimized. The balun, the amplifying circuit, and the first and second switching circuits are formed on the same semiconductor substrate.
