Terminal

A connector includes a terminal that is to be contacted with a conductive member of a wire, a housing in which the terminal is arranged, and a holding member that is fit in the housing and in contact with the terminal to hold a position of the terminal. At least one of the terminal and the housing includes a pressing portion that presses the conductive member in a direction such that the conductive member comes in contact with the terminal.

Connector

An electric cable including a terminal includes an electric wire and a female terminal. The female terminal includes a first holding portion and a second holding portion that hold the electric wire. The female terminal includes a first pressing portion and the second pressing portion pressing the first holding portion and the second holding portion toward the electric wire. The first holding portion and the second holding portion include a first protrusion and a second protrusion, respectively. The first protrusion and the second protrusion protrude toward the electric wire. A core wire of the electric wire includes a recess in which the first protrusion and the second protrusion are fitted.

A connector structure includes a hood formed in a housing and having a bottomed tubular shape, a mating hood formed in a mating housing and fitted inside the hood, a plate spring member made of metal and accommodated in a bottom of the hood, a playing regulating member, a mating hood tip end inclined surface formed at a tip end of the mating hood in a fitting direction and inclined to a tube inner side or a tube outer side, and a playing regulating protrusion. The playing regulating member is provided in an opposite side against the bottom with the plate spring member interposed therebetween and is urged by the plate spring member in a direction opposite to a fitting direction against the mating hood.

Terminal and connector

A terminal disclosed herein is a female terminal that is contained in a housing and includes: a connection tubular part provided to be connectable to a counterpart terminal and including a bottom plate; a carrier cut part provided at an edge of the bottom plate; and a projection projecting from the carrier cut part. The carrier cut part is provided at an upper edge part opposite to a lower side corresponding to the housing side along the plate thickness of the bottom plate. The bottom plate includes a bottom surface on the housing side and an upper surface opposite to the bottom surface. The projection is provided to the upper surface side of the bottom plate compared to the bottom surface thereof.

Terminal, chain terminal, and connector

A connector includes terminals () connected to terminal ends of electrical wires (); a housing () including a terminal housing chamber () in which the terminals () are housed and an electrical wire lead-out portion () from which the electrical wires () are led out. A first cover (A) covers the electrical wires () led out from the electrical wire lead-out portion (), and a second cover (B) causes the electrical wires () to be inserted between the second coverB itself and the first cover (A) in a state of being assembled to the first cover (A). At least one of the first and second covers (A,B) includes electrical wire pressing portions (A,B) that press the electrical wires () led out from the electrical wire lead-out portion () when the first and second covers (A,B) are assembled together.

An electric cable cover that is to be mounted on a connector housing and that covers an electric cable led out from the connector housing includes a plurality of split covers that are connectable to each other. The plurality of split covers each includes: a base part that is to be attached to the connector housing; a hinge with flexibility that is formed to be integrated with the base part; and a rotation part that is contiguous to the hinge and rotates using a rotation axis of the hinge as a center. In a state where the plurality of split covers are connected to each other, a border region between the base part and the rotation part is provided at a different position for each of the plurality of split covers.

Electric cable cover and connector

A connector includes: a short circuit terminal housed in a first housing and having contact pieces contacting with adjacent first terminals of a plurality of first terminals respectively with the first housing and a second housing not being engaged with each other; and a releaser provided in the second housing and configured to displace the contact pieces and release contact between the adjacent first terminals and the contact pieces upon engaging of the first housing and the second housing. The contact pieces include: contact portions contactable with the adjacent first terminals respectively; and slide portions slidable on the releaser and respectively arranged in positions anterior to the contact portions in an engaging direction of the first housing and the second housing. The contact portions are apart from the releaser with the contact pieces being displaced due to slide of the slide portions on the releaser.
