This high-frequency hardening apparatus is provided with: an induction heating coil which has a U-shaped part that sandwiches a turbine blade, a pair of linear parts, and a connection part connecting the U-shaped part and the linear parts; a temperature detection unit which detects, in a non-contact manner, temperature around the induction heating coil; a moving mechanism which relatively moves the turbine blade and the induction heating coil in the direction of blade height; an electrical current supply unit which supplies a high-frequency electrical current to the induction heating coil; and a control device which has an electrical current control unit that, on the basis of a detection value provided by the temperature detection unit, controls the magnitude of the high-frequency electrical current supplied from the electrical current supply unit such that the detection value will not exceed a predetermined temperature.

High-frequency hardening apparatus

Water droplets that are moved on blade surfaces of a rotor blade are effectively guided toward the blade trailing edge while influence on the strength of the rotor blade is suppressed. A steam turbine rotor blade having a tie-boss for joining to adjacent blades at an intermediate position in the blade length direction is provided. The steam turbine rotor blade includes an airfoil part in which a blade surface is partly hollow as viewed in a section obtained by cutting by an orthogonal plane to a rotation center line of a turbine and a recessed blade surface that is this hollow partial blade surface passes through the blade root side of the tie-boss at least in a region on the pressure side and extends in a strip shape in the blade chord length direction.

Steam turbine rotor blade and manufacturing method and remodeling method of steam turbine rotor blade

A stationary blade includes a main unit having a hollow blade structure formed from a metal plate by plastic forming. The stationary blade includes a blade tail section. In a blade tail upper portion, the metal plate has a concave-shaped recess and a rib formed on an inner surface side thereof, and the metal plate further has slits formed by slitting on a blade pressure side thereof, so that droplets affixed on a blade surface can be guided into an inside of the hollow blade when the blade tail section is joined to the hollow blade main unit. The recess in the metal plate is covered so as to be lidded by a suction-side protrusion of a suction-side metal plate from a blade suction side to thereby form a hollow blade tail section. The metal plates are welded together to the main unit.

Steam turbine

A stationary blade includes a main unit having a hollow blade structure formed from a metal plate by plastic forming. The stationary blade includes a blade tail section. In a blade tail upper portion, the metal plate has a concave-shaped recess and a rib formed on an inner surface side thereof and the metal plate further has slits formed by slitting on a blade pressure side thereof, so that droplets affixed on a blade surface can be guided into an inside of the hollow blade when the blade tail section is joined to the hollow blade main unit. The recess in the metal plate is covered so as to be lidded by a suction-side protrusion of a suction-side metal plate from a blade suction side to thereby form a hollow blade tail section. The metal plates are welded together to the main unit.

An exhaust hood for a steam turbine includes a bearing cone; an annular flow guide; and an external casing surrounding the bearing cone and the flow guide. Meridional shapes of the flow guide at respective circumferential positions are shapes obtained by rotating one representative shape around an upstream end of the representative shape in a meridional plane and by reducing or maintaining a radial length of the representative shape. A circumferential distribution of inclination angles of an upstream end of the flow guide with respect to a center axis of a turbine rotor of the steam turbine has representative inclination angles at respective representative positions in the circumferential direction. The circumferential distribution between the representative positions is defined by a linear interpolation. Each representative position is a position where the inclination angles change from increasing or decreasing to decreasing or increasing, or from constant to increasing or decreasing.

Exhaust hood and its flow guide for steam turbine

An axial turbine includes an upstream turbine stage that includes: a cover disposed at a distal end of an upstream bucket and opposed to an inner wall of an upstream diaphragm outer ring across a gap; and a downstream diaphragm outer ring that is disposed downstream of the upstream turbine stage and that has an inner peripheral-side end wall shaped into a flare. The inner peripheral-side end wall of the downstream diaphragm outer ring has a flare angle formed to be greater than a slant angle of an inner peripheral-side wall of the cover. In the axial turbine, the inner peripheral-side end wall of the downstream diaphragm outer ring is formed to have a meridional shape that has at least one inflection point between the upstream turbine stage and a downstream turbine stage and such that a tangent at the inflection point with respect to a steam flow direction has a positive gradient.

Axial turbine

To provide a steam turbine stationary blade adapted to remove a liquid film effectively. A steam turbine stationary blade with a hollow region therein, the steam turbine stationary blade includes a plurality of slots and arranged in lines in a direction of a chord length, the plurality of slots communicate with a working fluid flow passageway and with the hollow region, and extends in a direction of a blade length, and at least one connecting portion disposed so that for each of the most downstream slot of the plurality of slots and, a surface directed toward the working fluid flow passageway is positioned closer to the hollow region than to a surface of the steam turbine stationary blade, and so that the connecting portion connects both sidewall surfaces of each of the most downstream slots, in the direction of the chord length.

Steam turbine stationary blade

A steam turbine stationary blade is configured to be a stationary blade structure having a hollow structure. The steam turbine stationary blade is provided with a slit disposed on a stationary blade surface. The pressure of a stationary blade hollow is reduced to suction a liquid film through the slit for removing the liquid film formed on the stationary blade surface. An opening portion of the slit is covered with a sheet in a meshed pattern formed of a fine mesh thereby reducing an accompanied steam amount so as to effectively remove the liquid film.

Moisture separator unit for steam turbine and steam-turbine stationary blade

A plurality of slots with different widths are provided in a plurality of line on a stationary blade surface. More specifically, the steam turbine stationary blade has a hollow nozzle with a penetrating space, which is connected with a diaphragm outer ring or inner ring, and a plurality of suction slots extending radially which are arranged on the blade surface. At a position where a water film deposited to the blade surface is thick, the width of a slot is smaller and at a position where the water film is thin, the width of a slot is larger.

Steam turbine stationary blade and steam turbine

A burnishing device and method are provided that enable burnishing processing to be reliably performed on a surface included in an object to be processed and having a change in height and inclination angle. The device includes a burnishing tool having a pressing unit that rotationally presses a surface of an object to be processed, the surface having a change in height and inclination angle; a tool driving device configured to move the burnishing tool; a strain sensor configured to detect the strain amount of the burnishing tool; and a computer that calculates pressing force to be applied by the pressing unit in a normal direction of the surface of the object to be processed, calculates correction amount of displacement of the tool driving device in a pressing direction based on calculated pressing force and stored pressing force in advance, and outputs the correction amount to the tool driving device.

In a defect detection device for a turbine rotor blade, a recess is provided in a side surface of a web provided to the inner circumferential side of a stationary blade diaphragm where stationary blades are annularly arranged adjacent to turbine rotor blades. An eddy current probe is movably installed in the recess, and a rod provided with a signal line for transmitting a signal detected by the eddy current probe, connected to the eddy current prove, is set up to be movable through a hole in a turbine casing and an air gap formed in the stationary blade diaphragm. The eddy current probe is moved toward or away from the turbine rotor blade implanting portion, and a data analyzer determines the condition of a defect occurred in the turbine rotor blade implanting portion based on the signals detected by the eddy current probe.

Device for detecting defect of turbine rotor blade and method for detecting defect of turbine rotor blade

An exhaust system for a steam turbine provided with an improved annular flow guide in a high or intermediate turbine. The improved flow guide reduces flow turbulence in an exhaust hood and reduces pressure loss to thereby improve turbine plant efficiency. The shape (vertically symmetric) of a flow guideA according to a conventional technology was modified into the shape (vertically asymmetric) of a flow guidesuch that the length of a downstream flow guide portionis greater than that of a upstream flow guide portion. Numerical analyses were performed to find the optimum flow guide occupation ratio of the conventional technology and the corresponding total pressure loss coefficient. The obtained values were used as reference values. Further, the flow guide occupation ratio of the upstream flow guide portionwas set at 0.4 and the flow guide occupation ratio of the downstream flow guide portionwas set at 0.7; at values where the total pressure loss coefficient becomes lower than the reference value. The rectification effect of the flow guide can thus be enhanced.

Exhaust system for steam turbine

A sealing structure in which free-cutting spacers on a sealing base plate and sealing fins on a rotor are opposed to each other is provided. The sealing base plate is disposed so as to be movable in an axial direction of the rotor. When a steam turbine increases in load, a pressure head moves in an axial steam-pressure loading direction of the rotor and the sealing base plate connected to the pressure head moves in the axial steam-pressure loading direction. Since the free-cutting spacers at positions opposed to those of the sealing fins existing after the movement of the sealing base plate are maintained in a non-contact state, clearances between the sealing fins and the free-cutting spacers are dimensionally minimized.
