A printing apparatus includes a drying unit configured to be movable to a first operating position where a print medium subjected to printing by a printing unit is dried, and to a first retracted position retracted from the first operating position. The apparatus also includes a supporting unit provided facing the drying unit and configured to be movable independently of the drying unit to a second operating position where the print medium to be dried by the drying unit is supported, and to a second retracted position retracted from the second operating position.

A printing apparatus includes a printing unit configured to print an image on a sheet; a first exit path from which the sheet with the image printed thereon by the printing unit is discharged while being reversed; a second exit path from which the sheet with the image printed thereon by the printing unit is discharged without being reversed; and a switch member configured to be pivotably arranged so as to switch between the first exit path and the second exit path. The first exit path passes above a pivot center of the switch member, and the second exit path passes below the pivot center.

Article delivery system

A movable guide is able to switch an attitude of a supporting surface of the movable guide relative to the reading unit between a first attitude and a second attitude. The second attitude is a state where a side to which the sheet is introduced is open more than in the first attitude. The movable guide is set to the first attitude during reading of the test pattern.
